What's the issue with cold weather? Surely if they can drill in Alaska in winter & in the depths of the North Sea a bit of frost is no big deal.
Well it's currently -9c in UB with a high of 8c forecast next couple of days, so I guess you could say its well above freezing.
However it's due to get down to -20c over the next 10 days with highs well BELOW freezing so it is quite clearly not drill weather yet.
They are not going to rush operations and risk bad weather when they can begin in May/June time when weather is much more calmer and Walmer.
I think you will actually find you can drill from March onwards. Presently temperatures in UB are well above freezing.
My point was if the rig contract was finalized you could start drilling the end of March.
It is quite funny when derampers keep saying MATD is not a oil producer yet !!!
We know already, that is why its @ 4p currently and not 40p plus.
If we were producing 2000 / 4000 / 8000 bopd and selling @ $100/bbl already, we would be priced at many Multiples.
Re-rate comes from future outlook over next 6 -12 months. MATD to become Oil producer soon plus got all the massive Upside from the Block V exploration starting with 3 raptors each being a 200 million barrel prospect.
Once DQE is on board, we could see Velociraptor also drilled this year. Just cannot be on the sidelines in my view. Very few shares in issue, moves fast this one. lot of shares in sticky hands.
What are we hoping/ expecting to hear from the various updates and news releases coming up soon?
Hahahaha pmsl, some got very lucky buying under 4p and still are buying at these prices, once dates are in and we nearer drilling this will be double digits and with so much more on the burner this will way too high for some people to even deramp it lol.
Spainish: It would be very interesting to hear from your expert/insider etc. knowledge concerning PM. Is there anything you could possibly contribute to this BB in that (or other) respect?
Many thx.
Winters are obviously very harsh in Mongolia but I suppose drilling can start early May at a push, depends how harsh the winter has been.
I have also seen they can drill til 2nd week in December again depending on the weather so we have a drill season of approx 7 months.
Plenty of time for rig contracts etc to be ironed out.
Mongolian winter period ends in May
Mongolian winter period end in May

Why does the drilling season not start till May at the earliest ?
yep normally a good sign when derampers post. they are not posting to save ourselves from a financial loss are they?? good fair analysis FA as per usual, and yes for a potentail 1-1.5p drop on a years delay to +25p gain at best this year, it does make investing at these low levels (35 million market cap) very attractive
holding 1.3 million here from 3.07p to as high as 4.69
Always a good sign when the idiot de rampers show up.
I find it comical that so many people seem to be writing off the whole years worth of drilling operations by March 5th.
The drill season doesn't even start til mid May at the earliest but can go on into November.
So transparent when people have sold and want back in cheaper.
I would imagine the same disappointment you feel every day when you wake up.
what happen if we are delayed for drilling, and we missed the window for this year. shame if we have to drill next year instead , sp will drift back down to 1p.
Exactly ID78: Investors with their heads screwed on right expect extracting, shipping and selling oil this year.
Completely agree, BP.
Putting a hole in the ground and hitting oil = high risk
Extracting, shipping and selling oil you have found = low risk.
All the best
Guys - putting hole in the ground is a whole different thing from extracting , shipping & selling oil. Calm down, expect some sales in 2023 & maybe profits in 2024.

Brent is $120 F me
Book a rig for F sake ;-)

There was only £500 worth available towards the end. If you were unable to get a Buy quote for an hour that would suggest to me MMs must have been busy trying to fill a big Buy order.
I’m seeing 3.90p as the support, which is where the SP ended today.
Looking forward to next week.

If we get even a hint on 8th March, Q and A session, then we should all be well and truly sorted for 2022 and beyond.
