The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Jesus everyone so obsessed with a placing ffs!
By my calculations they have between £1.3-£1.4 million left which is MORE than enough to see them through for a good few months yet.
Yes they will need cash at some point but will hopefully come in the form of licensing deal or commercial partnership.
They have pretty low cash burn of approx £160,000 a month sp plenty left in the tank yet.
Looks like better PR already started. Have you seen the 2 recent updates from 3D Bio tissues X account?
Great videos showing strength of leather hide they have produced. Here's one of them:

Not sure what you mean regarding need to get accounts signed off at some point as they just have only 2 months ago!
They had over £1.6 million cash and said they have enough to last into 2025 + they have just received 2 grants. They will obviously need more money coming in which I'm expecting in the form of commercial partnerships, further grants or IP licensing deals.
If none of these come to fruition then I'd expect a placing but that would not be til back end of the year imo.
Like I said I had comms with the company a couple of days ago and they assured me nothing in that respect had changed and there is no raise going on.
I agree their PR is not great but I believe they are going to try and turn this around.
I believe he has no idea if there is actually a raise going on, he just doesn't like the company and what they are doing so says they probably are.
The fact he doesn't know suggests to me there isn't one as he has a lot of contacts and would know for sure.
I'm hoping it's just one or two distressed sellers who have had enough, maybe Myles is selling down, who knows.
I would be very peeved though if they are doing a fundraise as they should have enough cash to see them well into H2. This should give time for commercial partnerships or revenue from City-mix to materialise.
If they raise now that basically says to me they are not expecting any revenue making deals for the foreseeable.
I have it on authority Myles is not the one selling. There are plenty of big holders out there, upomega and badtrader have 4% between then for starters.
Obviously selling continuing so might even go into 5's tomorrow which is insane.
There will come a point though where buyers step in.
OK so I have 3 issues with what you posted:
1. The link doesn't work
2. I googled the article and it's 7 months old
3 . Said article is about fake meat I.e plant based meat which is nothing to do with BSFA who produce 100% real meat.
Not really sure why you posted it tbh.
A very impressive holding upomega. We are ridiculously undervalued right now, crazy how it's been battered down last few weeks.
I'm confident things will soon turn round. There are too many things going on in the background, if any if the names are leaked or commercial deals tied up then this valuation will be long gone.
Company have said they have enough cash to last them into 2025.
However i am 100% expecting money coming into the company by any or all of the following means:
1. City-Mix sales
2. Commercial deal / partnership
3. Grant from UK or EU
4. Placing - i think this will be a last resort if none of the above 3 happen
Could also have a big investor come in and take a chunk of the company.
Would be nice to get news before the AGM but not sure where this has come from. A few people seem to think imminent big news before then which means if it doesn't come then a possible little selloff.
SP been in the doldrums far too long now though, i think we all deserve a bit of good cheer here.
Yep great news, BSFA just keep delivering these strategic partnerships. Ivy Farm pretty well known in this space.
This cannot stay £8 million mcap for long with these deals going on.
News on leather, skincare, corneas etc to come as well.
Yeah they have plenty of cash for the foreseeable, just a few folk on twitter putting out fears of placing as they have nothing better to do.
Annoying that it is down again but it's good news imo as shows companies are interested. We still have the PoC ongoing with the major French fashion house which will soon hopefully come to fruition.
Will be a gamechanger if that comes in.
