They all laughed at Christopher Columbus
When he said the world was round
They all laughed when Edison recorded sound
They all laughed at Wilbur and his brother
When they said that man could fly
They told Marconi
Wireless was a phony
It's the same old cry
They laughed at me wanting you
Said I was reaching for the moon
But oh, you came through
Now they'll have to change their tune
They all said we never could be happy
They laughed at us and how!
But ho, ho, ho!
Who's got the last laugh now?
I often laugh when people ridicule me, for being correct. ☺️🍿
..oversold on the daily.
DYOR
The £ is on the Edgeh now, could see sub $1.2...IMHO-DYOR the

4. Being a social and economy destroying landlord, attracting more immigrants to the Uk. Dover folks have had enough. Uk folks have had enough.
Well, if you do read this, congratulations on posting by far the most recommended post I have ever seen on LSE!
Not worth a reply...IMHO
Agreed LTI & Rick,
We are returning to normal times relatively speaking interest rate-wise. These aren’t windfall profits, but sadly it doesn’t prevent clueless idiotic politicians from saying they are 🙄
Fakey
''LTI, Stop posting lies ABOUT ME''
?
I have posted about the content and timing of your posts, and because of the content and timing, a sensible conclusion is that it is all fake.
How long have you waited for 34.5p?

**Falky Is your short still open?**
Hardup, Good Morning, Morning All,
Yes, it's still open...Thanks

LTI, Stop posting lies ABOUT ME PLEASEEEEE. NO NEED TO REPLY.
''Fortunately, his views are irrelevant.''
unless it is the cost that Sir 'peoples vote' Starmer has to pay in a hung parliament situation where he needs the support of the LibUNdems to form a government.
I cannot see where this 'windfall' is in any case. The underlying profitability has not changed much over the years - what Lloyds and shareholders are now benefiting from is no longer having to pay many £Billions each year in PPI claims.
Agreed Gate13. Also normalisation of interest rates, isn't a windfall.
''CLOSED @ 45.145p......tbh, I think it will go lower.''
even when closing a fake 'short, fakey wants it both ways.
Faket still waiting for 34.5p must be about a year by now.
Heard Ed Davey this morning saying he would impose windfall taxes on the banks if he got into power. Fortunately, his views are irrelevant.
''Bottled it..''
all just fake I am afraid.
Fakey kept options open on this 'trade' on Friday as to whether it had been closed or not (no post after saying looking to close the same day). After being questioned about it, finally got a response on Saturday, by which time the ftse futures was comfortably down , giving more leeway. If the ftse futures had shown 50 points up, fakey would have posted that he had closed it Friday.
There would have been no logic with a genuine 'short' keeping it open for a weekend to then close out first thing Monday morning.
Lloyds has already been paying an additional tax since 2008 finance crisis, which is why in my opinion it will be politically unsavoury to add another tax. Anyhow to pay more tax implies an insane profit, which means the sp will climb on the back of huge profits regardless of taxation.
I held lloyds shares in the 2003 for around £4.08 each, although dumped them all in 2005 for house deposit at around £4.60
In the new world order so to speak my average on LGB is 27p or 22p after taking divs. Hardly in muppet territory. Another £2k - £3k final div in Feb-24 likely paid in May-24 will bring my average down more. Lloyds should in the 60p - 70p+ range, so I'm quite happy to earn divs until the sp returns and it will.
The colour of a filtered post sums up carltit.......green with envy. 😎
Wait for the bank windfall taxes, then we’ll all be laughing! ☺️🍿
“Shift their mindset from amateur to
Professional traders...IMHO-DYOR”
Okay, so when do you plan on making that shift?
“Lloyds will be below 40p..... you're really sticking your neck out there”
You think?
I’ve said sub 40p when this SP was over 50p, so back then I was ridiculed by you landlord muppets, but I more right than many on here so far.
Sub 40p seems inevitable to me.
This was over 700p and time says it’s on a downtrend. ☺️🍿
Don't get carried away with a profit of £392! 🤣
Not an easy task for some traders here to Shift their mindset from amateur to
Professional traders...IMHO-DYOR
He probably doesn’t have any wealth gordon. He’s just a xenophobic troll living with his Mum and Dad, bitter he was evicted by a landlord for non-payment of his rent.
🐓
By the balls ...lol
Traders will be looking to lock in profits today after the recent market move in share prices.
Bottled it......
You losing you touch
The old Falklands chap would of stuck to their convictions IMHO
Longs have these shorts buy the Balls IMHO
