currently valued by the market at just under 50p which includes the excess capital.
Dipped my toe back in, I finally feel all the signals are good with this share. Now Fly away please. Points upwards.
Yes Asp, with the level of profit expected this year on top of the CET1 level I will be extremely disappointed if there is not a special in addition to a return to a similar 3.36 level of regular divi with plenty of scope for growth in 2022..... whether it does come through may be a different matter of course!
2021/2022 interim 0.67p 2021/2022 final 1.54p total 2021/2022 divi 2.21p trust me i can read tealeaves

Sorry but did I miss in Q3 that 'owed' money is being sent to holders of shares as at Feb 2020?
Am expecting another divi rns lets see
MP
''now indicated to me that any delay in raising the rate at the next meeting would be negligent.''
I'm sure members of the MPC will take your view into account if they happen to be reading it.
Yes LTI - goes to show how much is now owed to shareholders

''Q4 Underlying £7.5bn Pre tax £4.4bn post tax £3.0bn divi 2.24p = 3.36p total''
The total dividend for 2019 was 1.12p, if it had been 3.36p then CET1 would not now be standing at the level it is.
The last reported inflation rate was 3.1% (previously 3.2%) I was surprised by the small fall and feared it had been manipulated to avoid raising rates before Christmas. The over 4% inflation rate mentioned in yesterdays budget, now indicated to me that any delay in raising the rate at the next meeting would be negligent. Great set of results today and I expect an analysts rerate over the coming days/weeks.
SUF / Next Thursday the BOE meet but we will get wind of a rate rise before i would have thought , i cant see it holding back the budget seemed geared for it to be going up
Good summary Aspberger! thanks!
I agree any interest rate rise will be the icing on the cake Jim :-)
Once the results sink in we start moving up the charts
Lloyds Banking Group shares are cheap.
SUF , Looking forward to this afternoon , the yanks will like those results , they like a company that is making big profits , infact the profits are huge and there should be a good divi when it comes , next week we could see an interest rate rise which will also push up the SP but this could be just a start with another in December .
Another good set of results .
Happy to carry on parking my savings here.
Only a matter of time before we see us back in the 60s again.
Patience is the key to success when it comes to investing directly .
By the time the cream has been skimmed off,the dividends will be meager scratching for the ever hopeful, that will keep the share low and tempting for future hopeful ,round and round goes the great big wheel in and out goes , , life goes on have a great day, dyor.
Noted in the fine print a dividend accrual of 56 basis points. As a dividend was paid last quarter, is this an indication of what has been set aside this quarter. Also, how does this convert to the hard earned stuff.
Teasing
Falky, jealous is a somewhat bizarre adjective to use, I have no idea of your financial prowess and have no wish to know, so spare the screen dump.
We are all here to make money that's why we're playing this game, some shout about their successes more than others.
My post referred to your incessant 50p rethoric throughout this year especially, with your self congratulation when it happened.
I hope you continue to prosper.
Now that your main content source has been achieved (again) ie. the 50p share price, I wonder what will be the new monotonous subject?
Spare us an inundation of 60p posts, I've already claimed that one.
GL with your trades, and that applies to everyone.
Beyond balance sheet, no clear direction of future dividends, witheld dividends, buybacks etc.
