Main broker has this down a little today ?
Apparently after my Tuesday top up chart shows lower by the close Friday 17th in line with main market recent lows.
Not much in with 6.25% spread today.
Then there's COBALT... Mikies 2 pound estimate is sounding more plausible each day that passes.
Quite amazing what Leon has managed to do. We were all hoping that copper would be our saving grace meanwhile he's pulled a rabbit out the hat and now we going to be the world's largest producer of Chrome which in high demand. Imagine when the copper strategy kicks in too. No wonder Slater and the rest aren't worried at all in fact they adding.
With this latest additional chrome deal we will add 45 000 000 dollars to our current revenue.... then +- another 75 000 000 million dollars when we sign the next chrome deal. This will double our current revenue. Market hasn't woken up to this and probably why the interview!!
Thanks @ Seis & Jonah. What a great interview and doesnt sound like there has been too much disruption to the Roan production to date. Great to hear Leon in such a confident mood again and the prospects of Roan in full swing from October. Momentum is gathering rapidly.
Thanks Seis....if all goes to plan as per the interview I see JLP at 20p end of the year!

Mickie, Broker note simply reiterated RNS content in a generally upbeat way. Seis has commented on their optimistic estimate of chrome price. Nothing else.
Mikie I guess the guidance is to allow for interruptions at Roan during the upgrade. As Leon said, they will review the guidance once the upgrade is completed.
It’s worth remembering that Sable was producing copper within 3-4 months of the acquisition and I think they will be looking to do the same in the North, generating cash to help get things fully up and running.
Gentlemen, if Sable is running at full capacity, company guidance of 6k tonnes of copper is looking a little conservative perhaps? Excess concentrate sales would be a massive bonus too. Is anyone able to copy and paste the WHI broker note please.
Silver on up trend one of main mines shut down due to accident
25k of cu concentrate by 2025
check out the atym mcap, think they produce 50/60k of concentrate
going by they're mcap
so that'll be a huge additive,to the mcap in 2025

Jonah,
On the transport point they were looking at a rail solution for that.
Thanks Seis. As you say, it is clear that the expanded Roan concentrator with its 60% ROM 2% Cu feed is going to produce more than Sable can cope with and we won’t be refurbishing a refinery any time soon.
Despite frustration with the hold ups to progress in the north, there is an upside as we now approach a period of significant income/revenue (yes, both!) generation. Leon is still talking about 25K tonnes of Cu by 2025, but the current delay gives time to refill the coffers and get the pilot study sorted.
As I see it, the downside to the current model is the transport of concentrate from Roan to Sable. It’s quite a long way and in the rainy season road conditions deteriorate.
Could equally be Tory Deputy Leader!
I thoroughly recommend the filter button. Comes in very handy!

Northern
Totally agree Happydays43 -the Bushy tribute act does not see to have much intelligence and just throws around insults when challenged -perhaps a career as the Labour deputy leader beckons
This is from page 22 annual report 2022:
n Zambia, we have replicated this model and I am pleased to
say our Roan concentrator, completed just before financial year
end, is running at full steam. In doing so, we have implemented
the Southern Copper Refining Strategy which targets to produce
up to 12 000 tonnes (design capacity of 14 000 tonnes) of copper
units per annum including a cobalt by-product from certain cobalt
containing feed streams.
Coetzer told us Roan Concentrator is running full steam. I wonder what kind of upgrade they are doing now?
They are forecasting around 6000 t copper units. I probably do not understand full steam.
RNS from JPL is really a source of confusion. Btw market is in the same boat.
Buttercup aka Numbnuts. You make money when you buy at the bottom of the cycle. If PGMS go any lower miners will cut high cost production shafts therefore creating a supply deficit. You really are a complete moron aren't you.
I watched an interview with Zambian Minister of Mines yesterday in which he was asked about Chambeshi Metals. He said again that talks were very advanced between the current owner and the potential new owner. He talked about the legacy (tax) issues in the past tense, giving the impression they were already dealt with.
If this does turn out to be the targeted Northern Refinery then it’s obviously going to take quite a while to get it back up and running. I thought it was interesting that in the 20th July update, Leon said:
“ As a result, and to better capture this opportunity, Jubilee has taken the decision to significantly upgrade its Roan concentrator facility to offer a unique capability to target a broader range of materials and produce three concentrate products for both refining at Sable and direct on-sale to the market”
A newly expanded Roan will be producing more concentrate than can be processed just through Sable, so the ability to sell directly into the market any excess concentrate will generate additional cash flow to help with the Northern expansion.
Well you could argue Zambia is real, but it is so slow, you can hardly speak from growth. PGM is dead as well. All JPL got is chrome. How much profit do they generate with chrome?
Bushy -thanks for actually admitting your agenda for your constant deramping .I not going to question the truth of you having a short position from 16.5p like you questioned the use of my JLP profits earlier -
Still think you are totally wrong with the £85 million valuation and the “party” is just about to start
