When you've seen such a sustained drop for so long it's difficult to be brave enough to buy more, no matter how much you believe in the Company and the Products, regardless of how attractive the price looks.
I did buy some more at 118p but like you I wish I'd shown more confidence in my convictions and really pushed the boat out.
Yes, its nice to see, but for longer holders we are only regaining lost ground.
MCAP is still low. £10m in the bank (still), NO debt, 40% year-on-year growth, repeat customers, growing and new customers, the big spend in R&D done, innovative and cost effective product that the market is going to have to take up to some extent due to sustainability credential and government bans on plastics.
this is going one way. Just wish I topped up more. But thats greed, I guess.
Let’s not forget the £100 million they have spent on IP in the last 15 years or so, that spend is very much behind us ow and very hard to replicate with all our current patents in play
Yes, it's great to feel that positive momentum again in the ITX share price.
Bizarre really, because it's now back at the last placing price, which should have been the floor. It was ridiculous that the sp ever dropped as low as it did.
But I held my shares and increased my holding by a decent amount, and ITX is now my largest holding.
These are the times when research and patience pays off for us PIs. And I would like to thank all the tireless researchers on this board who kept plugging away even as the share price plummeted. Your input has been most reassuring.
It is nice to be able to look at ITX SP in a positive light
The inroads into Unilever products will be massive to ITX and really put us in the shop window.
With all the IP, R&D well down the road, and we have not even considered the additional potential of Paint, Leather and superabsorbents, what price does a very large specialty company put on adding this to its portfolio?
£20 a share as a starting price (£260 million is not a lot when you think about it?), for what you are getting?
Let's see what other nuggets we can find from similar big players.
Is this why John has just recently mentioned about a production facility in Europe, would that be part of the requirement from the likes of Unilever?
Not long till the finals, Q&A will be interesting

Just to be clear, no one could buy any sizeable stock in Itx currently, 300 odd shares moves the price 5p, this company will get taken over, that I am sure off, it has to many patents to ignore and is growing fast, thankfully I’m holding 0.7% here and will exit for the offer at £15 a share within 24 months
Certainly makes us much more attractive for near term or medium term M&A target for a large dirty hydrocarbon non green player at a high price premium as upside but longer we are solo the more premium we eventually get.
Agreed, with the share price action recently, I wouldn't be surprised if some global leader is building a stake on the cheap.
Although we should be north of here, well undervalued.
I can see it now….
Itaconix - A Division of Unilever
Itx would certainly be a great fit for Unilever’s wider product ranges. The strength of the share price increase day after day, makes me wonder if a massive deal has been secured with Unilever.
Yes that is a great find and the first Unilever product that I’m aware of. Tresemme is a big hair care brand with frequent TV ads etc.
Hopefully cleaning products next.

Unilever to eliminate fossil fuels in cleaning products by 2030
(News from 02/09/2020)
London/Rotterdam - Unilever, a leading manufacturer of cleaning and laundry products, today announces it will source 100% of the carbon derived from fossil fuels in its cleaning and laundry product formulations with renewable or recycled carbon. This move is set to transform the sustainability of global cleaning and laundry brands including Omo (Persil), Sunlight, Cif and Domestos.

Great research AJP08, always a pleasure to read the posts on this board.
Onwards and upwards.

Wow - Unilever will attract people's attention....hopefully the first of many.
Corrected errors, fingers going quicker than the brain lol
Cheers
Major brand in the UK and Europe, if not world wide.
This is a styling gel and by the looks of it this is a very recent release, so guess it is a new formulation, the typical ingredient that is being replaced is usually an acrylate, I would have though, sure there will be a chemist amongst us who could confirm?
It may be that if Unilever find that is such a huge success( reviews very positive) that they go back and re-formulate some of their other hair products, but would definitely put money on the fact that many of the new products that they release in the future will have ITX chemistry in them, they are not going to only have one product with Sodium Polyitaconate as an ingredient?
If someone could confirm this it would be excellent, but I am sure that Unilever are committed to improving the sustainability of all of their product ranges, which covers quite a few brands.
We need to keep up the research going forward, not only on Unilever products, but also the other majors, as I am sure that they will not want to be left behind?
It also raises many other intriguing questions, luckily we have the finals just around the corner.

AJP.... and a well done from me, too - great research.
Does anyone know what Sodium Polyitaconate has replaced to make the shampoo 'eco-green'?
My god my wife uses it too I just asked her. Its good quality stuff apparently! No wonder John's wispy white hair looked so glossy and firm on his recent RNS videos
Great find AJP! And hugely significant, because I asked my wife if she’d heard of Tresemme, and she said „of course, I use it all the time!“
I think we are really now going to move up through the gears and it would be fab if we get to hear of capex spending plans later this year to accommodate & handle future growth.
I use Tresemme shampoo for my admittedly limited requirement.
In all seriousness this is great news.
Are we finally going to see the rewards of our patience? Hopefully the world is waking up to this well run and financed company.
Hi Elsol
https://www.tresemme.com/us/en/products/hair-gel/ultra-hold-sculpting-gel/
That is for sure Sodium Polyitaconate is one of the ingredients being used by Unilever in this product, which to my mind means the there could be a pipeline of products due to come out which will also contain this.
Has Unilever stolen a march on everyone else?
Where Unilever go are other large brands destined to follow as will not want to be left behind.
Very interesting times ahead.

If we are starting to leverage Unilver's portfolio with our new 'free green' market messaging then that's great stuff indeed! 😀
We're finally seeing the reverse of what I've witnessed for the last year (or even 2!)
It's been soul destroying watching individual trades move the SP down day after day. A large sustained drop on minimal volume.
Today is good to see. Every meaningful buy - and it's impossible to buy in quantity so 2 or 3 thousand pounds worth is meaningful - sees the SP move up. Who knows where the ceiling is. A very long way north of here I feel.
Well the breather didn't last long, moving on up. ITX must be real fit ;-)
