Some of the Buys are showing as Sells for some reason
Good results from exploration which underpin future resources, but the SP will not recover based on this. I am sure the BOD are focussed on improving recovery rates and site security and hopefully this will be reflected in the next production updates.
Well the Akrokeri drills aren’t too bad. High grade intercepts all for a very short length 1m or less but certainly gives promising indications to continue exploration there.
BUT these drills are relatively useless until GRL can demonstrate they have the setup in place to extract gold efficiently and economically. Right now, that’s not the case at 65% recovery rates.
Gold price is holding its end of the deal, so hopefully that has spurred the Co to spend that convertible cash wisely and sort out the Homase operation. Emma “looks forward” to an operational update in the coming weeks. Positive? I really really hope so!
Whilst we are all eagerly awaiting the production update which is confirmed as coming soon, it's a great time to be announcing bonanza grade gold found coinciding with the gold price going on a good run! 41g/PT sounds good at $2000+ per oz!
Fingers crossed the operational update following this is as positive too and we're finally turning a corner
A second 'Production update' RNS would be nice. Surely right time of year to fully inform market...unless news is not what we want to hear.
Come on Goldstone.
Where's the gold, how much has been sold??
How much has been stolen this time?
We know there are thousands of ounces in the ground, you've told us that before, what rae we actually worth?
Hold your breath, hopefully it doesn't fall again.
Some interesting trades this afternoon . News coming?
Hi jdt yes it was tongue in cheek of course!
I guess there is no regulatory requirement for a quarterly update but if you usually provide one, then one year you don't (after saying you will update early Q1) investors will probably assume what news there is isn't good. I'm hopeful that progress has been made but in the absence of news of course it is just a guess. I can be patient but the current sp is hurting for sure!
BearLittle - concur on currency it is why I invested all of mine. I genuinely don't believe in FIAT everything is manipulated including inflation figures. Now we couldn't hold inflation down any longer it is let rip and lo and behold - the average Jo is suddenly much worse off than before yet they're earning the same $ or £ and most don't understand it. Gold will have its day it won't stay under $2k forever. Notwithstanding - we do need to demonstrate we can mine an industrial quantity - that 600koz in the ground isn't that useful if we can't get it out....
Is that the same timelines at the Akrokeri drills in early Q1 2023 wasa?
I genuinely have no idea how the NOMAD let GRL get away with this sh*thousery time after time. Not to mention how the BOD have such disrespect for shareholders. Yea they are major holders themselves but regardless….comms are a joke here.
Emma has had an email from me making it very clear how I feel about all this. We’re end of Q1 and we’ve had no production guidance from a PRODUCER! One thing is for sure, this convertible cash better have been spent well, recovery rates improves, AISC improved and some damn good production guidance forthcoming!!
Watching what is happening in the world at moment gold backed currency coming back through BRICS nations. All this coming very soon. Cental banks are know this. But most of the public don't. Currency is not a store of value.
Just as Goldstone starts mining large ounces of gold. In my opinion this share could move quick. At some point good news will come out of here and the party will start. Things feel good for the future. The leach pads giving 80% and the gold reserves will build to multi millions down on depth. Things should be worth the long wait. What's the point in rushing if they can extract higher gold later. Need only extract enough the now to pay the bills.
I am down to much here to get out anyway so can only wait. But still have confidence that it will come good.
It's coming in the first few weeks of Q2....
Where is it?
I’m waiting to see what these chancers have been up to with the fund raise cash as they’ve had 2 months now to get their act together (where funding cannot be used as an excuse anyway)
Should be due an operational update tomorrow….
Anyone still here . ?
I can’t believe I sat back and watched this drop to these levels . Surely a good turn of events is on the horizon?
Its possible there may have been a few sells today but considering the trade at 2.54 for 22,500 was actually a buy I would think most trades today would have been buys. Also possible the reported buy for 226,000 shares may have been a sale in view of price drop. The volume is extremely low currently so I just think theres very little interest in Goldstone. BoD don't follow up on previous RNS and have not delivered on expectations for 2022. Not a great story for those interested in investing in a gold miner. Plenty of other miners out there who have good comms.
Even so I bought a few today because I think this could be a good buy if they can sort out agglomeration methods to resolve and improve recovery. Would be good to get confirmation of likely production target and whether it will be more or less than 20,000 oz gold. They have been at 65% recovery for approximately 9 months in 2022 and hope this has now improved. If not to come out and confirm 65% is the minimum standard going forward and how this impacts projected targets.
Just a ouple of years ago Goldstone was looking at a production target of 50,000 oz per year. This looks a long way off but hopefully we will all be surprised with a good uplift on last year's production.
Totally agree, the whole reason I invested over 2 years ago was because of the experienced management team and of course a proven Homase mine that produces!
Very disappointing to date, and I'm hoping they've finally pulled a decent amount of gold out as it's been long enough for them to figure out how to improve the gold recovery rates. At least they've had a recent fund raise so hopefully no more of that but the current share price drop isn't suggesting anything positive to come but hopefully that's just the lack of news and a hefty lack of respect to it's shareholders, come on prove us wrong GRL!
... If you believe the old adage that no news is good news, there's another positive for you wasarunner. I just hope we aren't in the running to get an update like SGZ gave out this morning...
... still patiently holding, if not praying, for some super news...
At the moment there are 2 positives - gold price is high (c. $2k/oz as I type this) and they have cash (unless they have squandered £2.4m in 3 months). Everything else is conjecture in the absence of comms from the company which have been poor. "Further drill results.... Akrokeri Mine expected in early Q1 2023". Early Q1 my ****, indeed, next week it's Q2. GLA
Guess we’ll find out next week what they’ve been up to in the quarterly update.
My guess is not a lot aside from imagining up some new excuses…..hope to be proved wrong and the silence is because they’ve actually been productive.
As a “producer” now is the time for them to get some gold in the coffers at these prices!
Any positives from anyone ? I’m doing my nut here . A few posters on here once said to be patient . How low will this get ? . It worse than 3 yrs ago
Haha we just need them to produce some gold to sell at these prices. Not give us the usual carp that “we have it but it’s all contained in the leeches still” I.E. were a bit rubbish at this stuff.
Hopefully the cash from the raise has been put to good use and they have something positive to tell us at the end of March in the operational update.
These Akrokeri drills that were due early Q1 have also unsurprisingly missed that timeline.
With gold just under $2000 oz, all we need now is some positive news.
... Thank you Rover64.
