The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Why is no one mentioning Bidens latest attacks on Alaska Oil and Gas? Surely that has had an effect on prospects of developing the discoveries, both for 88E and PANR?

Well, well, well. The placing at a huge discount explains the selling after the rise this week.....probably the same people who bought in to the placing. Forward selling even. A matter for the FCA?
Never trust a Greek bearing gifts. Or high grades. - King Priam of Troy. Possibly :-)
Ocelot, Follow that vein,
St Tropez was an AIM Siren, pumping and dumping, and leading unwary investors to their doom. I called the w*nker out on a couple of message boards but his presence was a sign of manipulation.
Bore da fellow miners,
To sound a note of caution, I wouldn't break out the champers just yet.
I read this as Alba just showing they are doing something with our money, with Waste tip results expected in June, underground sample results in August, subject to the usual caveats, "NRW ate my homework" etc
The waste tip work should have been started long ago imo.
The underground sampling is important but the refining/smelting is just a stage of the test, not an indication of commercial mining.
Good luck all.
Good news from recent drill holes generally confirming the 1980s intercepts from the new geotechnical holes, plus confirmation of visible zinc in the new holes, confirming extension of zinc laterally and vertically. Obviously more drilling needed to prove up 400k tons plus of zinc to support a 10 year mine, but they look on their way.
the drop in vals fortunes started when suzy dilly put blind faith in theoremrx with the first extension. then left it open ended. the woman has got zero leadership or negotiation skills and should be sent back to the lab where she belongs imo.
i wonder what kompromat thx have on suzy that she was unable to administer even a mild kick up the ****?
as for this new ned, done sod all at n4p but then suzy does like associating with losers.
This BB is deader than the dodo at the moment :-)
Hope we get some news soon so we can do some work on updating the company valuation.
Dundee University news a small positive with no income implications in the short term.
CEO has been worse than naive with TRx.
We need news of monetisation of 201 and healthy lab income in 2024, otherwise l am afraid l agree with those that say Suzy Dilly should step down, amd return to working on 301.
I wonder if it would be worth approaching ShareSoc with this malfeasance?
Additionally, what about reporting to the police as Forrest is obviously an agent of Russia?
Just checking in after some time guys. Is that the end for our AAOG shares?
Just like that - the useless scumbag directors don't file?
Can this not be reported for fraud?
Can Share Soc investigate?
Why should mention of SXX be banned? It's a classic case study and cautionary tale of investor exploitation, greedy and disloyal boards, and dubious banksters.
Anyway, it's not your call to make to ban anything. There might be an LSE police, but you ain't it! :-)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year all.
It's a small piece of good news but without financials just take it as an indication that CX 300 is saleable. We don't know if the buyer in this case is a drinking chum of any Braveheart or Paraytec folks, and whether a Black Friday deal was done. It is AIM, always be wary.
Some old bloke on the board needs Xmas present money.
You missed the most obvious excuse - useless commie gits in the Welsh government.
Anyway, I think ALBA is just a few bureaucratic hurdles from getting started so l bought another million shares just at the closing bell. Onwards and downwards, geologically speaking of course!
You might be right but ownership of Chinese mining companies usually works it's way back to some CCP types so they are not quite as independent as us westerners might imagine.
I unfortunately haven't got time today to compile the HR and alluvial numbers but haven't they been trending down over time?
Always happy to have my off the cuff observations proved wrong!
Andymillsy, l posted similar observations on the Production update thread. The production numbers are all going in the right direction, but the AISC isn't. Area for improvement.
Regarding the low values from HR and alluvial, l think this reflects the focus by MMP on getting Fairbride up to full capacity. Thank goodness for Empress providing useful numbers way ahead of Extract.
Ta, Z
Grade, recovery and throughput of ore all ramping up.
Costs up due to infill drilling for grade control, but balanced by decent sales price of almost $2000/oz.
Income of approx $1 million per quarter.
Not bad for a $10m mcap company.
If a dividend started getting paid the share price would head up to more reasonable levels.
Like medics in the USA wear their scrubs out everywhere. They think it cool, but it's frankly unhygienic - who knows whats been on them!
Next time I go on the pull in Zambia I will make sure to have my best high viz jacket in tow.
Morning Andy and fellow Xtractors,
Long time no talk, as I have just taken a back seat due to all the speculative posts in the absence of news for long periods.
I think the MMP figures give a solid vlue to H1 production, but you have an interesting take as to why Big Bird is not making more of it - a suppression of share price by a greedy BOD to get away cheap options. Makes sense - Colin probably has his eyes on a new Dubai racehorse.
