Billy101203 - great reference to finding water back in the days when Xtract was an oil and gas company.
I have only been here since the Chepica fiasco.
Manica is paying out as you say, but the deal does not look so great in a high gold price environment.
BUSHRANGER - after Bird's missteps on expectation management (or deliberate pumping as some might say), I think he ran scared of Bushranger. The license has potential and with a further drilling campaign it could have got to the 2 million tons of contained copper. That is what is needed there to make it suitably attractive to a major, and the ongoing concentration studies and upward pressure on copper prices will help, but will not substitute for the drill bit.
Bird has pulled in several new potential "shiny things" and I hope we get some positive progress this year at SK.
We have Manica income which removes some fear of dilution but I still worry XTR has too many plates spinning for an old part time codger like Colin to properly manage, on top of his other companies.
Time for a turnaround star CEO as they found at MTL?
