Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
My last statement is not a recommendation to invest btw!
So, it was Tricky Brown who bought 170,000 shares at just under 8p.
I have noticed with this share that you will do OK if you do as Tricky Brown does.
Funny that.
A positive RNS that IOCA is doing its job and thinking commercially. Good point Max, about Han**** Prospecting!
Still, I think the market is worried about the AA deal financing requirement and further dilution.
Further news to come....strong hold for me.
This was welcome news this morning. As Suzy mentions in the RNS, it is just the first deal to come out of their 2020 strategy to enlarge the academic pipeline. Does the initial share set up fairly incentivise each party? I think it does, but perhaps those shareholders who are experienced in pre clinical development could comment?
Hornygoatweed, you could contact ShareSoc, who are also still looking at Sirius Minerals.
The FCA in the UK may be worth a shot to see if they have improved from being toothless.
The mining sector as a whole has been in the dumps for a while.
Indeed this is a kick in the teeth - a 30% dilution at a 50% discount and a market cap under £ 2 million.
Literally the price of a house in North West London (though that is also heading down).
The PIs have been shafted even worse, as is sadly the case on AIM, but it's certainly a case of mates rates.
The directors are obviously taking the chance to up their stakes and I am sure the "institutional investor" is related to one of them in some fashion.
Remember Sirius Minerals (SXX) was stitched up by JPMorgan and Anglo American as well as being ditched by the supposedly patriotic Tory government.
That does not look yet to be the situation here, as ROCK now have funds to expand Moloai, which is obviously their best bet at the moment. They say they are funded to June 2023 and they obviously have links into the Greek government, which has the transparency levels to match an AIM company! Anyway, at least its in the EU, the mine has got metal, and I am remaining optimistic of a buy-out or JV at this bargain basement price.
80% down already - might as well ride this one out!
Cancer Research UK is a big client to bag.
However, this contract is only for a couple of months and it's value is too small to publish.
I wouldn't be getting too excited and rampy off the back of this RNS.
I agree that this mornings RNS was a milestone for Bibemi, and that estimate was only the first of 4 exploration targets. Let's hope ORR now looks juicy enough to attract more investor interest.
Good find on the Harmony deal by Prof Cheese!
Andrew4444 your calculations were spit on for a first pass comparison.
I don't think a major would balk at a billion dollar capex at RC vs 600 million at Eva copper project when the contained copper at Racecourse is at least 2 times, and with possible further multiples once the porphyries at Ascot and possibly Footrot are added in. As someone mentioned, the payback is also faster.
Good morning Xtractors!
Good potential from Ascot yesterday. More exploration would certainly be required to understand the more concentrated mineralisation along sub vertical zones. The long strike indicates large volumes. Look forward to the maiden JORC Resource.
For Cygnus, each porphyry does indeed have its own emplacement style and geochemistry, depending on its timing, magmatic evolution and fluid expulsion, and geological stresses present in the country rock, to name but the main factors.
ORR still in business in Cameroon.
Good to see some proper forecasts and numbers, which paint a very positive economic picture for the development.
Good to start the day with a coffee and some concrete news on an offtake agreement. Have a good day fellow LTHers
Good find Andy. Always good to get independent corroboration of Bird's statements.
RC bigger than CB imagined.
Phase 2 drilling completed, inc infill drilling.
Model building continuing.
New JORC compliant resource and updated open pit conceptual study "soon", and decision to mine.
AA option to make an offer or reject.
Open market search for a buyer if AA don't make an acceptable offer.
500MT ore implies Cu of closer to 1 m tonnes than 2 million tonnes, but still, nothing to be sniffed at.
I personally would continue with a Phase 3 using Fairbride funds, but l get the feeling CB is in a hurry. He is 80 after all.
It's Hammer Time!
(That's a Thor pun from MC Hammer for those of you who are too old or too young to know what l am on about!)
Any holders that havent done so should sign up for notifications on the Tiziana website.
The last few pieces of news have been good, but the SP is still in the dumpster, like that at Accustem. No mea culpa or explanation of the ******ed way the company shares were moved from AIM to FTSE to OTC/NASDAQ.
Sufficiently encouraged to hold on but still a ways away from breakeven.
Dr. Tanuja Chitnis, M.D., Professor of Neurology and the Principal investigator of the clinical study at BWH said, “Patients with non-active SPMS normally do not improve over a six-month time course. I am very encouraged by these results and look forward to seeing this patient’s PET imaging to determine if there is a continued reduction in microglial activation to correlate with the improvement we are observing in the patient’s clinical exam.”
Trevor Brown is a crafty fox who buys low and sells high - just look at his past transactions.
Covid is not over, certainly not long covid. See this Nature article on Long-COVID treatments: why the world is still waiting

I still dont rule out further epidemics from mutations, and am glad that the truth is forcing its way through the propaganda and lies of both the US CDC and NIH and the Chineses CCP. Look at recent results of The Lancet Commission on Covid and the statements of its head, Prof Jeffrey Sachs. Turns out Fauci and co were most likely trying to protect their gain of function collaborations with the Chinese all along........so when is the investigation going to happen?
