Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
This is very promising news and if AA are negotiating in good faith a long term partnership could yield valuable help in developing iron ore as well as our UFO PGMs.
However, don't be under any misapprehension about AA. Where do people think the power lies in a relationship between a mining giant and a small explorer? Management can be bought off as we saw with Chris Fraser and co at SXX. If JPM are the bankers l would also be concerned - we all know how ethical they are in commodities......not.
This line from the RNS concerns me
"new equity raised by Alien, and evidence that such amount has been utilized for Han**** in this case, of US$5 million;"
This implies a placing is ahead - but hopefully at a much higher price now that the 60 day exclusivity has been announced. The devil will be in the detail and l will wait for that before popping any champagne corks. If AA don't scree us over, l may even have a Pan Galactic gargle blaster.
Good summary of RNS'd info. Dave Price seems pretty upbeat. They have applied for Greek drilling permits but unfortunately he did not go into how much drilling, and how it will be paid for.
Hopefully that will come up at the Investor Q and A.
Agreed Kamakiriad. The company is slowly regaining it's credibility and investability, and lots more news to come over the next 6 months, as laid out in the RNS.
I am also happy to see the focus on Meygen and Uskmouth does not preclude the monetisation of the pellet tech know how for coal fired power station conversion.
Good try top cat.
Video of DP at Moloai in July!
Hope the below works for the YT video
https://youtu.be/

"Excellent recoveries of zinc (89%) and lead (74%) have been achieved at Molaoi.
ยท Commercially saleable grades of zinc (57% Zn), silver (856 g/t Ag), lead (63.6% Pb), germanium (117 g/t Ge), copper (2.62% Cu) and gold (0.52 g/t Au) are readily achieved at Molaoi."
Numbers look good for first pass concentrate production. No timeline for production or sales in this RNS unfortunately.
That's right DGR, people who invest in AIM explorers worry about dilution. Who would have thought it?? But 260 million shares and 100 million warrants on top of 4.8 billion shares in issue should not frighten anyone. Looking forward to production.
Dilly seems a personable and polite person, with scientific credibility. But this past year has demonstrated incredible commercial naivete in the way the Theorem Rx deal was structured in such an open ended way (for which the board bears collective responsibility) and the resulting damage to the SP. This led to the company communications masterstroke of announcing the placing at 10p just before the AGM which set the bar quite low PR- wise. The drunk lady at the AGM was an interesting watch, and Dilly handled her without having a meltdown.
That being said, l am positive on this RNS as it shows Dilly recognises the need for more professional communications, and she gains external perspective and expertise from Adam Hargreaves being more involved (but not on board, geddit? :-). The pros and cons of his involvement have been previously debated but l wish him the best in walking the regulatory tightrope, and l am thankful for his sensible posts with his wider industry perspective.
I took a quick look at https://www.vformation.biz/
Seems a rather oestrogen heavy outfit, maybe Dilly went to Brownies with the directors. In any case, am prepared to see how they perform.
We still need actual commercial news to shift the SP off it's arse, where it is currently sat comfortably :-(
Optimistically yours,
Z
Definitely an impressive line up for such a tiddler of a company!
Can see Vlad is lining up the ducks to go a shootin' (sorry vegetarians).
Lets hope he can stay away from the shysters with their dodgy financing this time round.
Yep, I think BHP made a cheeky offer for Oz. Oz knows the current low price of copper isn't going to last.
As Diadulus said, Oz would not invest unless they saw potential. The other contribution they will make, apart from the money, is the experts who will help evaluate the ISR research.
Am looking forward to Thor getting out of the doldrums.
Still early days in the exploration effort but good news nonetheless.

Kunwar Shalubhai gone. Now we are stuck with the Italian version of Del Boy.
I wish someone with knowledge of biotech and/or corporate law would take a look at the disgraceful farce the last two years of Tiziana have been.
DDDD has been another disgracefully run company. AIM is full of incompetent directors.
As well as the 40% fall in ACUT this week ??
See no rhyme or reason as to how these companies are being valued at the moment.
Additionally, is anyone planning legal actions over the botched demerger of Accustem and subsequent botched NASDAQ listing.
Good news from the ESG perspective. No RNS showing on this website so here is the link below.

Satu "Suzy what you going to do when the lawyers come after you?"
At least that's what I think she asked!! before being shut down....
Suzy does look flustered. trying to explain the "close" relationship with Theoremrx, but with no convincing explanation for all the delays. Her judgment should be in question in terms of picking them as a partner. Theoremrx delays are completely responsible for the destruction in shareholder value we have seen in the last six months. Suzy is the naive person left to cover for them.
What can be the explanation I have for the frankly daft refusal to negotiate a timeline or penalties for failure to come up with funding within reasonable timeframes...the "sevral items showing progress" notwithstanding?
Looking forward to any info from the AGM from those attending, if they aren't in the paddywagon for brawling :-)
A question I have when looking at the soil sampling map shared in June, regarding the new anomaly.
http://www.rns-pdf.londonstockexchange.com/rns/5555P_1-2022-6-20.pdf
Why hasn't the whole area been comprehensively soil sampled yet? That seems like a logical first step before shallow drilling begins, in case we miss any other shallow anomalies around the brecciated zone. Fruit can't get much more low hanging than that...

Stevemocal has made a good point about the comms strategy. I first invested in XTR in 2015 then we had the Chepica fiasco in Chile, share consolidation and the multi year delays at Manica. It was a typical crappy AIM stock with lots of skullduggery behind the scenes due to operations in more dodgy parts of the world. I had basically written it off when Bushranger came along, and being a geo I had a good look at what was around it and started buying back in. Shame I missed out on the 0.5p lows!
Anyway, I think the issues we have now are an abundance of riches rather than the opposite. The technical team will be busy looking at their models and different scenarios. The comms at XTR have been good for the past 2 years, which is why this quiet period has been particularly difficult. The share price always drifts down in these quiet periods. I am just waiting for the low to be signalled when Colin picks up a few more shares :-)
More more iron ore,
As l look to the future
I see lots of gold.
First RNS that's inspired a haiku :-)

The Company updates on progress on its commissioning schedule at Saltfleetby. With all equipment necessary to export sales gas now on site, the process has been handed over to commissioning specialists. Whilst the last of the electrical and mechanical tie-ins are being completed early next week, they will continue with hydrotesting (already largely complete,) nitrogen leak testing, final verification and function testing of all pressure equipment and finally live gas testing with well-head gas. This exercise is not wholly sequential as there is considerable overlap of function testing and leak testing.
Contractors are working toward a target date for first flow of well-head gas through the plant during the week commencing 20 June 2022 with first export (i.e. sales) nominations the week following. Angus looks forward to providing updates via Twitter, Linked-In and RNS Reach on detailed progress through the remainder of the commissioning sequence
The Company is also pleased to announce that it has concluded all preparatory risk assessment and planning for the forthcoming side-track at Saltfleetby and has advised suppliers of a spud date for drilling of 21 July 2022.
