Thanks, Imp2, I probably will buy - but years of investing on AIM has shown me that in a bad market even the best companies' shares tend to pull back a bit after a good news rise. (Plus I will have significantly more funds available after a short term deposit matures early next week.)
One thing that really bothers me with the junior mining space is that I've never seen such a long, drawn out rout in the London markets, and somewhere in my theoretical brain I know that a recovery WILL come, but I've felt that for so many months (close to a year now) that it is starting to feel as though perhaps this time it's different and it won't happen. (In which case, I don't know what that means: that the world suddenly doesn't need the industrial metals which are going to be massively under supplied in the event of anything like a small fraction of the green energy agenda being implimented! Seems unlikely!)
Hi, Donkey
There's no cause for regret. Just buy, which is what I did yesterday morning, and I feel much better for it.
Best wishes
Rather regret not pulling the trigger when I had the chance last week for a few hundred thousand of these at 9.5p - if it drops below 10p again in the coming weeks, I think I will definitely move some cash here. As a "Son of POW" company, it is certainly showing that PJ knew what he was doing when he acquired these licences and assets and spun them out into GMET. I suspect there is a lot more sp appreciation to come for holders here in the coming months and years (assuming it doesn't get taken out with a golden bullet by a US mining company before it can deliver its full potential, but that would presumably be at multiples of the current sp, so a case of win-win_not_as_big_as_you've_been_nice!)
Good luck to all the GMET and POW holders, both look like long term winners to me.
Agree hope not long before we move from exploration company to mining company will then boost sp government funding always long afair
Good response today to the further analysis provided on Garfield.
I'm just hoping this isn't turning into another POW. I know OF has stated they're not looking at taking on new projects but progressing existing. I hope that remains the case and we concentrate our limited resources on proving up what we have and perhaps attracting a Strategic Partner or even selling.
Would be good to hear something positive about US Gov Grants for Pilot mountain, I feel as though we're not hearing much on that for awhile - not to say they're not doing anything - but I'd like to hear something concrete.
I second that. Merry New Year 2024 folks.
Happy & prosperous New Year to all GMET investors ATB
For directors to do well
Thanks for video post imfo

@Michael I agree - always good sign to see insider buying, and I would imagine OF being a reasonably young guys probably not a multi-millionaire so it's good to see him putting his hard-earned in here.
The Nevada tenement is looking very good for multi-plays and if they continue to prove it up at this rate I can't imagine we'll be stuck at this market cap for long given the reasonably small number of shares in free-float.
I had the finger hovering over CMET & GMET today but decided to add to my holdings here - existing strategic resource and the other plays.
If we land US funding to develop up the Tungsten 2024 could be truly transformational.
If so, drop me an e-Mail Davidburton.tms@gmail.com
ALWAYS, good sign when director buys shares ATB
CEO Oliver Friesen purchased just under £7,500 worth of stock yesterday on the market @ 9.35p per share. His total GMET shareholding is now 673,967 (0.79% stake in the company) which is worth circa £60,000 at the closing mid-price yesterday.
Good interview from oliver, 32p forecast only for pilot mountain
OF has been everywhere on every podcast in the last week or so and Sunday Roast was all over this yesterday - in practically everyone's top 3 picks for 2024 - remains to be seen.
And riseing could finish 10p
Well, pretty decent info on the rns. Early days, just how I like them.
Not the clearest interview

Good post/cleared a few things up ,patience needed till funding announced atb
Surface exploration giving results of 1% copper is excellent especially over the large size of the footprint, Just one high grade copper zone is 1.5 x .5 Km in size.
Analyzing the surface exploration results showing 1% copper, apart from Silver and gold
it is promising specifically as it is in a mining friendly jurisdiction with all the required infrastructure in place, although the find is nascent in nature.
As a rule of thumb, open pit mining becomes economically viable when the cost to process ore is around $10 per tonne. In cases where the ore grade is more than double that, at $20 per tonne, it's considered economically favorable.
Considering that 1% of a metric tonne is 22 pounds, and given that today's copper is valued at nearly $4.00 per pound, the total value of copper in one metric tonne of ore would be 22 pounds which equals $88.
So making it economically feasible and highly profitable for open cast mining as results continue to be proved up the target will be disposal to a JV or similar.
The highest content pt I know of is 8% in Canada .The average mine rate of copper being produced in the world today is generally way under 1%
Also GMET amongst its other assets has its Tungsten Pilot Mountain project already under major fast track and grant applications to the various US.GOV various Bureaus dealing with critical minerals.
With regard to the PM project it is almost unbelievable that the given US intention is to have the mine up and running within 3 to 4 years.
Share price, buying price not selling has quoted in trades today
Soil grades not drill grades. Key question is how deep & amount of over burden to remove? not heard anything about geophysics.
