Indeed Matty! What's more, with that massive 50% increase in annual throughput, the PFS also stated that, based on samples," metallurgical recoveries for gold are anticipated to average approximately 88% and recoveries of copper are expected to average approximately 84% throughout the life of the project."
Heading towards +10%
Thats a 'win' 'win' update lads
Completion of the debt facilities and Wyloo Placement will enable Greatland to be fully funded for its 30 per cent share of the Havieron project development based upon the October 2021 2Mtpa Pre-Feasibility Study; and well positioned to be fully funded in respect of the Feasibility Study targeting an expansion to around 3Mtpa due in the December 2022 quarter
After plenty of buying at full offer the bid went UP further to 5.70p, a very narrow spread now 5.70 v 5.80p, still paying the full offer.
''The Feasibility Study is examining an expanded throughput rate of 3 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) compared to the 2Mtpa scenario modelled in the Pre-Feasibility Study completed in October 2021''.

My assumption yesterday from Shaunâs interview was that the additional ponds werenât needed but todayâs news says they will be installed when required.
Before the September Town hall the published water estimates were deemed to be on the low. When I mentioned this to Shaun he told me the opposite, which threw me a bit as I wasnât expecting any issue.
From todayâs news my assumptions are now that the volumes are above average ( as the new ponds are needed) but the flow rates and pressures are lower. This means the ponds will take longer to fill and are manageable so there will be no problem with the Decline advancement. Itâs still a very strong rock structure so good for advance rates.
Strudel agrees with Hopefullygold this morning that his âpumpsâ were drilling legacies. The photos arenât clear enough to know precisely but they were definitely not pumping from there. They are however on the proposed borefield, so may be kept for future pumping and not filled in and capped off like the rest.
The big question is now â will they start the Decline or wait till the sale process is completeâ
How to say we are going mining without actually saying it.
I believe the opportunity has arose donât you?? đ
What is it they say, negotiation should be more like a dance than a fist fight.
I would agree, itâs confident language but respectful as well.
As Shaun has said many times we have a great relationship with Newmont, we donât want to become arrogant during negotiations, never helpful.
Despite the positive news the share price is only slowly moving higher, just now the bid is up to 5.60p and paying the full offer 5.80p so most likely will move further up soon.
Greatland Gold has indicated it might try to buy back full ownership of the Havieron gold project in Pilbara, Western Australia if the opportunity arose.
In February, Newmont, the majority partner at Havieron via a 70/30 joint venture with Greatland, deemed the project non-core.
Greatland says it has a right of refusal over the Newmont interest ahead of any sale to a third party and considers itself âstrongly positionedâ should there be an opportunity to consolidate ownership of Havieron on accretive terms.

I read it as, weâd like to buy it if the price is right.
GLA
Southern... Other entities also have the opportunity to buy Newmont's divested parts. However, GGP have last rights (if the company thinks its worth while).
Good morning all
The RNS was outstanding and it's so good to hear about the aquifier. It should help to quell the crxp from at least one nervous Nellie.
I just found this about Newmont if it's of any interest

Anyway, good luck to all true Grealanders for the future

Itâs not strange at all, they are e potentially a buyer but the seller is in control so being respectful of their ownership and acknowledging what they offer (incase they decide to not sell later) is sensible and a nod to the fact you could be interested also makes sense.
â Overall, we are confident there is currently significant option value in Greatland with Newmont's 70% interest in Havieron considered non-core and our existing last right of refusal on any sale.â
And the strange part,
" If an opportunity to consolidate ownership of Havieron were to arise"
Those two statements are at odds with each other.
Is there some doubt in the GGP board room as to whether NEM 70% will be available?
Why 'IF' an opportunity were to arise? I thought the opportunity had arisen the day NEM stated it would divest Havieron.
Very affirming statement, especially this bit;
â Overall, we are confident there is currently significant option value in Greatland with Newmont's 70% interest in Havieron considered non-core and our existing last right of refusal on any sale.â
Nice update. Would be great to see the sp strengthen a little today now on the back of this, hoping but not expecting!
Excellent update
Good to read that they have been busy pushing on with the development, am assuming the decline will now start again.

Squashes a fair few anxiety points. Aquifer all but sorted with even the chance of expediting access to ore body (every cloud eh!) - a strong message RE ggpâs ability and intention to acquire the remaining ownership of Hav should it arise. Fantastic stuff. Cracking interview too. Much happier this morning. Hoping this is the catalyst for a fair few shorts closing and a rise in sp.
Fantastic update from Shaun.
Some people will stay take aim at Bamps for something, no doubt.
Going to get interesting!
