Good morning all
The RNS was outstanding and it's so good to hear about the aquifier. It should help to quell the crxp from at least one nervous Nellie.
I just found this about Newmont if it's of any interest

Anyway, good luck to all true Grealanders for the future

Good morning all
I woke up a tad early this morning and found this interesting piece
https://ukinvestormagazine.co.uk/top-three-ftse-aim-stocks-to-watch-in-november-avacta-greatland-gold-and-tekcapital/
Very positive sounding takeway
"There’s about a thousand different ways this AIM stock could deliver. But my suspicion is that the MRE update is going to blow all previous estimates out of the water. "
But as ever, this is only the Author's opinion
Good Luck all GGP Holders, great patience and steel nuts still required IMO
I am well down on my investment but I promised myself that I would follow this advice about 3 years ago. I have done for 3 years and I will continue in the same way whatever
Justin Waite @ Sharepickers 22nd June 2021
'If you're holding the shares of a company who’s business is growing & improving (and will continue to do so for months / years to come) do not be concerned about the price the market offers for those shares today / tomorrow - is unless you want to take advantage of a bargain price."

Found this short writeup while googling, thought it may be of interest on a Sunday evening.

Our time will come soon IMHO
Kissthegirls yet another busybody trying to save us all. This is a international BB for invested people, there is nothing for you here
We really don't need your help or advice. Oh yes you can collect your 10p a post on your way out, please shut the door after you

Mapp. Sorry to hear you've had a fall, my Mum who is 86 has had a number of falls in the last few years. Its difficult when she lives 260 miles away in Yorkshire and I'm the only offspring. Now she has carers coming in 3 times a day at her cost. I have become quite knowledgeable about care in the home of late, it's a minefield. If you want help with costs for Social Care, I don't know if you qualify but before retirement you could look at PIP and after you could look at Attendance allowance. Even better, go to Citizens Advice if you can find one these days.
Hoping you recover soon, and feel more positive than you seem to have been of late
It's OK Ace, I forgive you. I'm not on a defined benefit or gold plated pension, I wish I was though. I was on drawdown before I went almost all in with my HL SIPP and ISA in GGP so now I don't drawdown much to my wife's chagrin. Every week I get "How are those f******** gold shares of yours doing?"
My usual answer is obviously "Oh they're fine and don't forget the copper darling".
Yes Ace I do get a little interest but most of the banks etc have been paying shockingly low rates of interest for years so between them screwing us and now the Gov potentially taxing the diabolical interest payments people in my situation could be getting squeezed from both ends plus high inflation for possibly months ahead.
If they are allowed to tax us on Interest earned, what's the chances of us being taxed on ISA withdrawals in the future, my concern is that it could be a slippery slope.
Anyway, I never moan about the SP and I'm still supremely confident that hopefully all of us will end up in profit in GGP but WTFDIK.
Lastly a huge thank you to all the positive posters here, especially to Bamps who has always been a pillar of support to many people on here, especially to me. GLA
I have just read in the news that the Gov are considering taking tax from Bank etc interest.
So I get a state pension and a private pension plus I work part time. I get taxed on my earnings and on my pensions. Getting taxed on interest earned is IMHO a tad mean
I came across another Gov petition with the same name as this thread and signed up for it immediately. It's a similar one the one I signed when Tig brought it up. I know many on here are already pensioners and everyone here will be in the future. Anyway, I have dropped the link below if you feel like making a protest

Good luck to all genuine GGP holders, our payback is coming hopefully soon IMHO DYOR
Hi. I hope this might help some people but not everyone. I have a number of devices and the main ones are Android. I use the Adblock browser commonly known as the FAB browser. This works for me but must be kept updated
I also have an ancient IPAD 2. This is stuck at Version 9.3.5 of IOS (the Apple mobile operating system). I use old Safari browser and it never allows the trashy popup to work. The iPad 2 can be bought very cheaply, it's no use at all for much else but it does the trick for the LSE junk videos

Good morning
I just had a quick read on another BB and they have a thread called 'LSE Developers had a brain fxrt'. Apparently they have, as has been said here as well, mucked everything up for the sake of emojis. It's likely that they didn't test the code on a dev system before screwing the live one DOH.
How to upset 99% of a bulletin board in one sentence
It's very easy if you're that stupid
By criticising two of the BBs favourite, valued and hardest working members

This is where things get interesting because in the Greatland Gold / Newcrest joint venture deal, if Newcrest at any point decides to sell their 70% interest for whatever reason, Greatland Gold has a right of first refusal to buy that interest. This would mean that if Greatland Gold was to buy that interest then owning 100% of the Havieron deposit that whoever was to buy the Telfer Mine would be buying a mine that is likely going to close in the near future which doesn’t make sense at all when factoring in that there will likely be a very expensive mine closure plan for a huge mine that has been around for a long time.
It will take at least four months for the Newmont – Newcrest deal to close and then somewhere after that we should learn what Newmont’s plans are for the Havieron project. Until then, we should continue to get drilling results and ongoing project updates.
