..much nearer towards 40p, I'm in for another £50K - that reflects my confidence.
I was not in this stock in the old days ,but i am a cynical old bugger
No pant-wetting here, mate :) As long as it trends upwards, that will be fine with me. NB In the “good old days” we did used to get some good movement climbing to 120p, oscillating around 70-90p, then decaying right back down again. I’m virtually at breakeven point with my most recent foray, I have a fair exposure, here, and I'm certainly very confidence on future growth. ATB
Just dont wet your pants expecting anything too stellar ,like some people do jsut a steady tick.tick up unless any bad new comes out or the chinese do something silly, reinstating a dividend i think will be 2011 as it will be a trend in other companies and the herd instinct will kick in in boardrooms.
But I would most definitely expect a general upward trend from now on, …..or, perhaps, the world really is flat after all! ATB
I suspect that we we see the SP fall victim to daytrading volatility in the short run, but slowly tick up over the next few months
So this is a conservative recalculation of the shallow resources [excl. deeper zone] that shows a significant upgrade – obviously cheaper and easier to exploit. Will we finally start to see a reflection of this value in the SP?
Chairman Mladen Ninkov commented "The new resource statement provides for a 35 year mine life within just the defined shallow resources at Zone III at the increased throughput level of 750,000 tonnes per annum expected to be reached in the later half of 2010. This new resource statement ignores the deeper ore in Zone III, the new resources at Zone II and the significant resources believed to be contained in the large area between the two zones. This is a wonderful result for shareholders and their continued faith in the Company which, in addition to the cash balances of in excess of $65m in the Group, sets the Company up for a successful and exciting future."

RNS Number : 9625H Griffin Mining Ld 03 March 2010 60 St James's Street, London SW1A 1LE, United Kingdom Telephone: + 44 (0)20 7629 7772 Facsimile: + 44 (0)20 7629 7773 E mail: griffin@griffinmining.com 3rd March 2010 UPDATED JORC MINERAL RESOURCE FOR ZONE III AT CAIJIAYING Griffin Mining Limited ("Griffin" or the "Company") is very pleased to announce the latest JORC reported Mineral Resource for Zone III at its Caijiaying Mine in the People's Republic of China. The results confirm increased grade and Measured Resources from that previously reported in the Micromine 2002 Mineral Resource Estimate, and extensive resources and long mine life for the continuing mining operations at Zone III. Highlights include: 1. The addition of 4.7 million tonnes @ 6.7% Zinc, 0.9 g/t Gold, 34.3g/t Silver and 0.4% Lead to the Measured Resource at Zone III, containing: · 318,000 tonnes of Zinc metal · 19,000 tonnes of Lead metal · 131,000 ounces of Gold · 5,200,000 ounces of Silver 2. The following increase in the grade of the Indicated Resources in Zone III: · 36% Increase in the Zinc grade · 16% Increase in the Gold grade 3. The following increase in the grade of the Inferred Resources in Zone III: · 51% Increase in the Zinc grade · 90% Increase in the Gold grade This Mineral Resource estimate includes a conservative recalculation of the resource at Zone III in light of the grade control drilling undertaken during the 5 years of successful mining operations at Caijiaying, with a reinterpretation of the structure of the ore bodies. The deeper Mineral Resources have not been included and will be evaluated in light of the proposed drilling program to be undertaken in 2010 which will provide a better understanding of the deeper mineralisation at Zone III. Drilling along strike and south of Zone III, towards Zone II, is having success with several holes intersecting mineralisation over the IP anomalies that were located in the 2008 IP survey program. The results have provided the necessary confidence to commit to a 25,000 metre surface and underground drilling program in 2010 which may enable an estimate to be made to JORC reporting standards on the Mineral Resource located in the area between Zones III and II. The 2010 Mineral Resource was estimated at a zinc cut-off of 1%. Tabled below is the summary of the recent up-dated 2010 Mineral Resource. when is the next company bulletin expected ? SP will drift sideways until then,
nb Us shareholders.
Correct no Radar, as we have seen on this 'post' Co. Management 's PR lacking. Thou' could go back to the £1.01 sp it was b/4 the re-conditioning,,,,,I hope. & maybe a dividend, to quell the shareholders, ?
Price seems low for this Company. Millions in the bank, recently upgraded mining facilities and just gained licence to mine below 1300m. A resource update is due. Could be interesting. Seems to be under peoples radar.
It might mean that the mm's do not, any longer, have a stock of this Co's shares in hand,. Which is a good thing ? ? ?
tried topping up on GFM and my account is in credit but broker states Trade blocked by MM ...whats that about? put in a successful trade just now on Lloyds so the problem is GFM...baffled.
call me cynical but why should griffin management give a toss about shareholders when they get salary and expenses whatever happens .
nice one on the Asylum youtube.vid. Well spotted. (pog). The divi is not the issue it is the recognition that shareholders here are important & should be recognised, yes !
Yes but we have to wait until May, but I don't think they will re-instate the divi this yr..? but with Lead/Zinc/ & now Gold increasing...Maybe.. ? ! waiting..
..a bit of blue, here. Still waiting for 50p plus
It seems to have went down a storm!!!!!!!!!!
only good news here . any other share would go up on this update but i do think if we saw the dividend back this would move north quite quickly
Note all the positives. NB Apart from the negativity of the last year and a half, give me any other major downbeat factors! ATB
Not TOO long now. ATB
Griffin is a new one for me (Just watching)... seems to be alot of frustration and general downer from you guys ?? Seems to be pattern of hi-low ranging 6-8p ... putting you personal prejudices aside and ignoring any paper losses and related negativity, what price do you see as reasonable to hop onboard ?
