Price seems low for this Company. Millions in the bank, recently upgraded mining facilities and just gained licence to mine below 1300m. A resource update is due. Could be interesting. Seems to be under peoples radar.
It might mean that the mm's do not, any longer, have a stock of this Co's shares in hand,. Which is a good thing ? ? ?
tried topping up on GFM and my account is in credit but broker states Trade blocked by MM ...whats that about? put in a successful trade just now on Lloyds so the problem is GFM...baffled.
call me cynical but why should griffin management give a toss about shareholders when they get salary and expenses whatever happens .
nice one on the Asylum youtube.vid. Well spotted. (pog). The divi is not the issue it is the recognition that shareholders here are important & should be recognised, yes !
Yes but we have to wait until May, but I don't think they will re-instate the divi this yr..? but with Lead/Zinc/ & now Gold increasing...Maybe.. ? ! waiting..
..a bit of blue, here. Still waiting for 50p plus
It seems to have went down a storm!!!!!!!!!!
only good news here . any other share would go up on this update but i do think if we saw the dividend back this would move north quite quickly
Note all the positives. NB Apart from the negativity of the last year and a half, give me any other major downbeat factors! ATB
Not TOO long now. ATB
Griffin is a new one for me (Just watching)... seems to be alot of frustration and general downer from you guys ?? Seems to be pattern of hi-low ranging 6-8p ... putting you personal prejudices aside and ignoring any paper losses and related negativity, what price do you see as reasonable to hop onboard ?
that news went down a storm!
Griffin Mining raised to buy from hold at Investec, target price upped to 50p from 48p http://www.moneyam.com/action/news/showArticle?id=3781278 NB Seems a very low target price to me.
Key points: * Increased production at its Caijiaying Zinc/Gold Mine. * Mine development and stope preparation below the 1300 level is now underway - extraction expected later this quarter. * Upgrade of the processing plant and tailings dams continues. Chairman, commented: "The operating performance of the Caijiaying mine continues to improve and we look forward to even better results as the next levels of the mine are accessed and the plant upgrade is completed."

Have a look at the graph! However, keep checking. If you are invested here, you may well be pleasantly surprised, before TOO much longer. ATB
still waiting ................................and waiting......................yes juggler your right!!...................... man-this share never moves-
Not interested in selling, my intention is to hold , Long term, only have 35,000 shs at ave 44, since 4 months, but I think they will recover & eventually go to the £1.02 they were prev. (in a year) . ..& then the dividend, I know the divi is not a big figure but it shows the Company's good faith. & in China that is a good thing , ?
I would be sorely tempted, to offload about a third, if we were to head into the 50s. Ah the 50s - music to my ears!
No Chance I would say not their bag. If only GFM managemet where Oh! forget it Ive been there before. Is there really a mine at all the photos on the web are about 10 years old? Where is Cay thingy Is it in China? is it a disney plot Is it an AVATAR base!!!!!!!!!!
BHP Billiton are cash up big and looking for acquisitions in China , would they be interested in a minnow like GFM
..on this one - just a thought - could you please, now, move on! The big “crunchy-munchy” machines are starting to move underground!! Please get out of the way, and let things progress….otherwise, you will be gobbled up!! Hark, I hear an increasing rumbling - in the background - but it is very close!!!
Yes the license is Good news DOST but it has a sting attached, to go deeper requires more heavy investment and safety systems which will require capital expenditure ,and remeber they shut the mine down for expansion at the top of the market ,whereas now would be a better time .when things are quieter. But once the market turns positive again the shares should so well , but the managment could be a little more investor friendly.
I thought Licence was good news!
