Mining Application http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=200912240701376506E
300 k sell today ! hope it isnt someone who knows something !
The big thing for us at the moment”, says Roger Goodwin, “is that we’re trying to get a permit to mine below the 1300 level at Caijiaying”. Griffin Mining’s Caijiaying zinc-gold mine in the province of Hebei has proved, over time, to have been one of the more successful of the Chinese ventures listed on the Aim market. It’s been a long road, but over ten years you would have made nearly four times your money had you put it in Griffin and left it there, as the shares went down, then right up, and then down again, all on the back of progress at Ciajiaying. All right, the company has been involved in other adventures along the way, but none of that other activity ever seems to last long, or has a lasting effect. True, that may very well change before too long, as Roger Goodwin, the company’s finance director and London point-man, says that the Griffin is still very much in the market for deals and acquisitions, despite coming off second best a couple of times in the not too distant past. But it’s development work at Caijiaying that remains the priority, and it ought not to be long now before permission is granted, and the company moves on to start mining deeper, and richer, ore. The application process is supposed to take a mere 28 days, says Roger, but the Chinese authorities had lots of queries, and Griffin duly took the time to answer them all one by one. The issues raised by the Chinese have now, says Roger, all been resolved. According to the announcement
...so hopefully resolution of application, fairly soon. ATB
Hopefully it is tidying up the edges, rather than ripping it up and starting again, formality. I’m extremely confident that it is the former! NB EMED. It is a nightmare dealing with “official FAGS” nowadays!!! However, once resolved….they will fly.. Griffin metamorphoses to Phoenix!!
No '' they blew the application, although prob. not on purpose'. They now have to re-do it...although they have not said how long this wld take. But still a good op. I am purchasing, bit by bit, in anticipation, to add to my numbers here. They are now producing GOLD when they threw this away b/4. They ARE PROFITABLE & PAID A DIVIDEND, & are cash RICH. so £1.25 N/YR. Easy..& waiting. ! maybe only back to prev. s/pr. but at today's price, well.....
..that we should hearing about how the reapplication went, fairly soon.
as PB indicated, I think these will come back good, it maybe early next yr, they used to be above £1.oo & with the 1300 level application approval, ...hopefully soon, they will do fine ..... they have Gold down there, don't they. ? Hold on. Cheers ...ps FYI ..I will pick up more shs if this prersent price holds after Xmas.
Please issue RNS to say why share price fallen so much -dont treat us like mushrooms -keeping us in the dark and feeding us BullS**t.!!!!!!!!!!
Further to the announcement made on 27th October 2009, Griffin Mining Ltd (“Griffin” or “the Company”) has had its formal application for a new mining licence to mine below the 1300 level (number 100000222220090369) reviewed and the Ministry of Land and Resources has requested that a number of rectifications be made to the lodged application. The Company has begun work on these amendments and plans to re-lodge the application in the near future. This process has suspended the 28 working day period on day 11 and will resume at this point once the rectifications have been addressed.
