There plan is wait until Argyle dies I think...
holding those shares has been foolish and very expensive, Is there a plan to recover investor value guess we will be last to know.
Time to find a very large stone I think!!!!
Looked it up, reckon we need one!
What about splashing out on a XRT machine?
Gem Diamonds... "We were the pioneers of XRT, testing the first equipment. We ran a trial unit in Johannesburg and it proved to be successful, and then they built a machine. In the course of the last 18 months, all of the big stones that have been recovered have been recovered using XRT. That is one box that can be ticked - there is some new technology involved. We now have three XRT recovery machines in our processes, and they are doing very well. This 910-ct. diamond came out of an XRT machine. That is part of the story."
Have toped up this morning.looking like share price is on the mend!!.
Business has around £23mil cash and a £10mil mcap. Despite the debt, can’t see much downside from here. Unless I’ve read those figures wrong?
Useful comment TA. Assume you're not a buyer nor a follower then?
Price propped up by the couple of big stones they have got in the last two quarters otherwise.....it would still look pretty ugly
I think so. All the indicators appear to show a fairly strong improvement this year.
Does anybody else think FDI is turning around and has good prospects now? Today's quarterlies show costs under control, engineering running well , the general market improving and the beginnings of a flow of larger stones. Some more good stones and we should see a big lift in theSP.

Last auction achieve $90 per carat, so linking that back to this article and our most recent large stone find, the next diamond auction (https://www.ofm.co.za/article/centralsa/273381/firestone-recovers-72-carat-yellow-diamond-in-lesotho) should again be really strong leading into Wedding season.
There is also the potential for Gem Diamonds (GEMD) to take a look at its neighbour, based on the current valuation of the business.

Should see more money heading this way over the coming days. Director buys - I think some averaging going to happen:
22 Sep 2016 Lucio Genovese Buy 1,000,000 @ 44.50p £445,000.00
30 Nov 2015 Keith Johnson Buy 197,997 @ 18.00p £35,639.46
23 Nov 2015 Keith Johnson Buy 85,000 @ 16.88p £14,348.00
26 Oct 2015 Stuart Brown Buy 21,317 @ 21.00p £4,476.57
25 Jul 2014 Lucio Genovese Transfer In 302,690 @ 0.00p £0.00
My target here in recognition of the larger stones being found and the diamond market stabilising is 10p minimum.
More buys tomorrow I would anticipate.
we need management to do some serious buying now, to give confidence .
Looks like we are gonna get another tick up
Recovery of some large stones, which is what this mine was all about - should see this climb strongly. We are a way off our 10p mark, but I think we have bottomed out. All buys this morning
well, that's a start!
Rec :)

Following published today:-
Shares in Petra Diamonds (LON:PDL) jumped more than 8% on Friday after the miner announced it had dug up a 425.1 carat, D-colour, Type II gem quality diamond at its iconic Cullinan mine in South Africa.
The discovery comes less than a month after Petra found a 100.83 carat gem-quality white diamond at the same mine, source of the world’s biggest-ever diamond, which was unearthed in 1905.
Our turn next?
positive outlook at last, better top up before the mob arrive.
