Pretty hard to defend that AISC and Capex now hey, 99.8p.

Its the bad PAF update and Trumps War. We need the war to end ASAP. I think the directors havent been sensible with the AISC and have over invested, there should have been a return to shareholders, instead we have millions spent, high Capex and a high AISC. If the war was to end we could see some recovery, but the chances of £2.00 now seems a very very long way down the road.

Indeed! - thats a fair old chunk they bought yesterday - 47m shares purchased i think.

Another rise in gold, as the US Bank predict, would also carry us north. Like you say, its just about giving time and hoping Trump can string together an ounce of consistency, logic and closure to this failed chapter.

I wonder what the economy is going to look like after the war finishes, I wish I was better at reading that.

I still think they’ve gone a little too far with Capex, and there AISC is high for a company with solar panels and tailings recovery that were originally $800-$900 aiISC. They should be reigning it in a little and the shareholders have suffered as a result of them not doing so. SP is now left to wander on poor sentiment.

Sentiment. 2027 is not that far away, there will be updates as we go, hopefully more positive, on new mines, increased production, raised Dividends. I remember holding CEY when they told us the next two years would be bad!

And then there is Gold, if we get back to $5000+ much will be forgiven, give it a few adys and the share price will tick up

I feel these guys are great miners, but AISC and investment seems high because of it. We were supposed to have a good dividend, Cobus promised return of profits to shareholders over many years. Im a bit concerned they are upgrading and investing to make things faster and create a slick operation rather than paying a dividend. Id rather they not invested so heavily, or where more restrtcive with their new floats, crushers etc and rather mined over a longer period.

Unfortuneatley Im not a miner, so some of the language is above me, but it seems the divi is about to be hit at the expense as a result of high capital input.

Its tricky to know when to get back in, Iran and Israel are loose cannonballs and Trump is no better, £1.25 seemed cheap, but another wave of attacks could see that price blown.

We may have higher interest rates, but that may well lead to stagflation, (high rates and low growth) and gold does well historically in stagflation.

The damage may already be done with the oil infrasturctuire damage, and there may be more to come. The issue we have is how will Trump get out? American presidents seem very beligereant when it comes to withdrawls, they believe their weapons can beat a man in a speedboat with a home made bomb, and they are wrong. Trump is the dumber of many presidents, having bit off far more than he can chew, plus he's set his rabid dog Israel loose, and its hard to muzzle that monster.

This will continue to sink whilst the war rages, and the US and Israel in particular dont seem keen to end thebloodshed.

There are so many factors now coming into play, oil price, gas price, shipping and now concerns over food supply, oil and gas infrastructure, middle east investments in Westerm Stock Markets, Airlines, Tourism. All ready we have a ship that was supposed to dock at Felixstowe on the 8th now put back to the 18th.(diversions from other ships taking berthing space) foru our business. We fully expect shipping prices to rise like they did in Covid. This war is a disater with no end game, it will just drag. The problem is even if America stops bombing tomorow, who is to say the Iranians will stop? They could keep the strait closed and continur to bomb oil and gas infrasturtucre. I see this going much lower without positive news, but non of the fall is PAF related, its all market related.
