I assume the quarterly update is due soon. Hopefully to advise us of some good news and not otherwise!
I punted another 50k yesterday, however I could only buy in lots of £1500 or less. one of my trades showed as a sell. Im quite bulish, I believe the diamonds are there and we will start to find throughout this year, they have already found a couple, so they are there, its just a waiting game. Letseng is very successful, 60kms away.
Market and global economics aside, however at 5p, it was worth the risk.

"Patrick Meier has 25 years of experience in mining and is currently Chairman of Anglo Pacific Group plc"
Has he been brought in to sort out the companies finances? The share price is now half the 10p placing price from Dec 1st 2017 (£18.5 million at a 49.4% discount to the SP the day before). Lots of tiny daily sells over the past few months have ruined the market cap. Could this be the bottom now?
Paul Bosma is now the new CEO (from 1st July)and Stuart Brown has gone. Will that be a positive for Firestone in the near term. Maybe worth a punt.

If you go on the interactive Investor site and read what HPC has to say he is very knowledgeable and has held for over 10 years.
Regards
Clem
I can't believe it either. The original incredible positivity and then it all went wrong.
On the bright side , there must be a time when they reach the high yield prospects that they believe exist!
When that time will be is anybody's guess and that's assuming that the deposits do increase in quality with some larger stones included. Hope springs eternal!
Of 28 mil and it cost 130 mil dollars to build mine I cant believe its gone this far down gotta hope the YE report is upbeat.
Clem
the trade @ 13:40:11 should be a buy not a sell? why does it show as a sell?
Still early days. Look at Letseng mine, less than 60kms away, they have pulled many huge diamonds from there, the last one 910 carats in Jan 18. ive just topped up this morning 56338 shares, we'll see, fingers crossed.
looks interesting but the sp has dropped also. something in the background going on ? Lets face it for us long suffering shareholders it cant get much worse can it
1.8 million buys today plus others, something afoot?
Any time now, will it be 30p or 40p plus.
As I remember some of the big investors are in over the 30s so it wont go for less than that surely

Think you are right. Would not be surprised if this is what was intended from the start. Anything goes on the AIM!
I still think the company is most probably going to be sold. Which was always going to be the long term plan the buyer will know the state of play at the mine.so who cares about todays share price. That is not to say they will have it cheap.
like many unloved puppy's dumped twice as low as current value may endup joining the titanic with no news lol not been looking good for diamonds although petra is starting to move north with gemd the small shight get left behind
Deathly silence from Firestone, only hope things are improving. They certainly need to!!
Looks like people are selling out from the trades. all this time and shareholder return is dismal
Brown purchased shares in the last offer so be interesting to know whats gone on. Year end in 6 weeks be interesting to see what the diamond shortfall of the target 1mil per annum will be. Regards Clem
I am glad to see Brown gone. His only concern was getting the mine up and running which was why he was brought in. Maybe the new man can make it pay.
It seems like the new guy doesn't have any downstream sales and marketing experience. That said, with what the previous CEO claimed (last May's teleconference) he knew, and contacts he had, the crap that was presented for sale and prices achieved I doubt if it will make any difference whatsoever in the short-term. If the mine plan proves successful, then we may see the long-awaited up-turn. It's just as interesting understanding what wasn't said in this communication. In particular that no explanation for Stuart leaving was provided, so it may be that initial results from the new mine plan aren't yielding any improvement in results...leaving us all in the brown stuff!!
Yes, - he is currently down 379k, he should be averaging in
Quote Firestone Diamonds plc, the AIM-quoted diamond development company, announces that it was notified on 22 September 2016, that Lucio Genovese, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, has purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 44.5 pence per share Ordinary Share on 22 September 2016. unquote I guess Mr genovese is also looking for some improvement in the situation!!!
Time to buy chaps, I would like to see the management put some new money in also.
