I don't see many people trying to guess at what sort of realistic value EUA might have for buyer and I haven't a clue how to value a sale really . But, if I imagine that I owned EUA all myself and there are about 40 million ounces of palladium sitting in the ground waiting for me to dig it out & flog it, with today's palladium price at £1779 that is £1779 x 40 = £71,160, 000,000 of value sitting in the ground that I own. That's seventy one , one hundred & sixty thousand MILLION POUNDS or - £71,160 BILLION !
If we just guess at that being worth just about 60 billion after allowing for the costs of digging it up, then as I own all that, the question is, how much would I flog it for right now to get as much money up front as possible without all the bother of waiting to mine it myself ?
Ten per cent of the total value of £60 billion i.e £6 billion cash up front for outright sale now ? Naaaah.
Twenty percent of value up front ? That's still only £12 billion though. Doesn't sound right. I give you £60 billion in return for you giving me just £12 billion. Naaaaaaaaaah; doesn't sound fair; I want more than that. I found the stuff in the first place & it's all mine right now, and I don't see why I should allow myself to be ripped off just 'cos your bigger than me.
What do you reckon ?
I say sack the legal team, get Septic lil in to sweeten the deal and call it a round £1 a share
I’m with you mate get it sold that’s what I say wrap it up. Lol
Any room left on that galleon of yours I’ve got a barrel of rum and a bag of clothes
I reckon I could do with a pint of whatever you are drinking lol
Turnover is canity profit is sanity.
$71bn = c.$45bn profit assuming 60% margin.
Then convert from $ to £gbp = £35bn
I can see us getting 3.5bn, but not 12bn...
I still think £1.35 a share is likely, but would love a bidding war to drive this up!!! Who wants to miss out on the last big palladium play!!!????
Very good point Rowka, forgot all the other precious metals....
This is MEGA news...cant wait to watch this play out...
This isn’t a 1 or 2 billion sale , this I think is at least £10 billion sale with the professionals they have thrown at it.
The sale is done so I wouldn’t be surprised to hear about our new owners tomorrow , 1st of the month good time to announce , no reason to withhold information now
That would be nice
If I go to bed now I could speed up the timd to 7am......dare we believe this is our moment!!!
Anyone heard from Bobrad?
The deal is done do will be no offer or counter offers , bod must be pleased with amount so no need to put to shareholders , someone has wanted us hence put an offer bod couldn’t refuse
WOW. Lost for words.... I feel bit sick as I knew this will come good. But seeing the ducks starting to align in-front of us is something else. All I can say is congratulations to all LTH’s and you bloody lucky traders who had no clue what was going on and now have read the RNS and decided to stay.
Peter47 - why is EUA worth £10Billion...?
They also offer a lot of guidance on legal m&a and contract reviews and others services. Whilst I'm hoping we are in the final phase, I'm waiting till I see the red dot before getting to excited.
toon....take his post in the spirit it was meant...now is not the time to be mealymouthed old son.
It would be good to say sell at 70% share valuation in cash and the rest as a share allocation in the company that is lucky enough to buy and develop this field. Bit too much to ask though me thinks??
Well done to all LTH who have survived the turbulent times during suspension(especially the close call when we had no NOMAD), we went through some serious botflies back then and swatted them one by one and here we are now !!!
Trust in our fantastic and experienced BOD and the team they have bought together has been amazing.......its been one hell of a journey and I'm here to the endgame !!
Anything above 40p back then i would have been happy with.......not anymore!.........think the bar has now been truly raised !!!
Great this when a long term plan comes together & highlighted by the Rns
All invested shipmates supping Rum on deck counting the potential incoming doubloons
& all deserved especially the lth as some the verbal kn@ckers they have tolerated on here from
disruptive shorting Bot flies & flapping flounders who moaned & sniped have all suddenly turned into rampers
There is a huge list of quality investors on here from all walks of life have a Rum & enjoy & if that RNS doesn’t tickle your Lobster pot or polish your blunderbus then shouldn’t be investing
Gecko,
Superbly put, and I for one endorse all that you state, only a LTH , can understand the resolve shown here, and now as you say, it's within our grasp, it's just so good to be on this side of the fence, and the dreams of helping our families, become a reality.
If this comes off I'm planning a snowboarding holiday in the Kola Peninsula to celebrate, will probably need to be the following years winter due to covid ... oh and the fact that I don't know how to snowboard yet
After the above RNS, i doubt we'll see many wanting out.
A lot will try to top up and new money will come in.
Those trying to trade for more shares will be playing with fire.
Strong possibility of a blue day. May even open higher than close by a bit but you can't predict much on AIM, sp wise. GLA
Yep. When I look back this has been some ride. I got in at 1.19p from of all places advfn Sunday night tip. Went all in with a mere £8k. My life is already changed at 18p. Not been easy but feels like we are edging close now. The suspension was odd and baffling at times in the thick of Covid. When you are sat in assets with BOD with skin in the game. Hold tight.
Second that Tilly !
Alarm clock set for 7am , rum and cocopops for brekie , then on deck for 8am roll call .
hopefully a return to the 20's
gla
