Just great to see a forward looking company, not relying on others! Love this company, dragging their product up, by their own hard work, and obviously a very good product.
I think it's madness to sell now unless you really need the funds elsewhere (noticed some sells going through). Still under half-price as far as I'm concerned and all the signals are really positive.
This a little ray of sunshine on a pretty bleak day.. Circuit breakers can be less difficult with a nice glass of Banana Rum or a nice gin. Small company but very agile..
Fantastic performance, great to see a company being so aggressive during covid, could have moaned about there markets being impacted and tried to preserve cash etc. Instead they went on all out offensive to gain market share and build brand, fortune favors the brave!
If Carlsberg did RNS announcements this would be difficult to improve on.
In a difficult and uncertain market these interim results are exceptional and if performance continues on this trajectory this will reflect in full year figures in spring. Happy happy days
It has, hasn't it? And higher profits.
Cash down, but inventory up and receivables up (because of the much higher sales presumably).
Why on earth would they need to raise unless they were turbo-charging sales even further?
Cash position down. Prob enough margin not to raise at this stage. Let's see whether they can tame their outgoings and whether the increased marketing costs translate to increased revenue.
Good day to be a shareholder.
DIS shall rise again!
I think a toast is in order
Well played Distil!
Exceptional across the p&l and balance sheet.
Wondering when this will impact the share price, if it doesn't what will?
Happy with these..
Apologies. Ignore previous post. I missed the RNS.
Has anyone seen this? No RNS or word from the company? Seems a bit strange. https://flavourpirates.com/red-leg-launches-banana-flavoured-spiced-rum/
Last Saturday I went to Sainsbury's Hyper-market (Savacentre) in Collierswood SW19 looking for Red Leg Rum and I found it, sitting between big brands selling for £15 (original £20) under cutting big brands (selling £22). The shop assistant looking after liqueurs told me that Red Leg is fast selling Rum. I was well pleased.
A small company that is trying to find its way off the back of Covid 19. I like to support these small firms as best i can, with limited funds. They do not rely on other companies funding them, but try, through their own hard work, and obviously a good product to expand during these hard times. As a footnote, as this a small company, i"m sure we all hope that all the know-alls that poke their oars in,will not show up on this site! Good luck Disters!!
So appear to have missed the core summer months of picnics etc?
Very good news. Both RTD mixes listed in 475 Tesco stores.

The option strike price is almost twice higher than what it was half a year ago. Positive signs imho.
It sends a positive signal if they are buying in the open market, not when they are getting options.
Believe this is a buy anyway. I am impressed with the way the team have navigated away from the over supply craft gin market to rum - when this trend runs its course hopefully will be one step ahead again.
When founder/directors increase number of shares, it sends positive signal. I reckon, sp of Dis is going north in the near future.
Yes, the rumour is that Morrisons (?) are selling it now.
I am more excited about RG's next move...
Nice to see the RTD rum and coke in Tesco, Morrisons and selected Co-op stores. It must be selling well. Let's hope for the same when the RTD pineapple rum and ginger ale is launched. I have seen on other boards that people have already seen this drink it stores? There has been no publicity whatsoever from the company or Franklin and Sons about its launch. Has anyone on this board seen the new drink? Maybe they are waiting until all the stores are stocked before the big publicity begins?
According to the recent RNS the new Red Leg pineapple rum and ginger ale drink was due to be launched and sold in Morrison's in the middle of August. I have been in contact with the company and they say it will be launched very soon. That will mean that Red Leg has four different products including the original, the pineapple rum and two RTD cans; rum and coke and the pineapple rum and ginger ale. A growing brand.
It really doesn't take much to get it moving, does it.
Closing at 1.40p would be a 1 year chart breakout.
