Personally I doubt any Verify customers have access to LSAI's source code/technology. I imagine they have access to a user database and nothing more. Don't forget Verify acts as 3rd party verification. So would be entirely pointless if any other party had access to the verification code.
So whilst anyone is free to set up a company with the same concept, I'm sure (well, hopeful) all the valuable code is safely tucked away.
They did mention in the September trading statement that revenues would decline in the short term, as they transition to higher margin sales.
I think Toople revs dropped because they have reduced there spend on customer acquisition through sites like "you switch" etc, which they consider poor quality leads as they are low margin, price only driven and non "sticky" customers who don't understand the core offering and values of Toople. the reduction in marketing spend of 23% indicates this.
For me at the level I'm invested the risk/reward here presents a great opportunity imo.
My understanding is that once a game is made the cost is pretty much the same if its in 1 state as 2,3 or 50. So any revenue from additional states goes directly to profit with little or no extra cost. I suppose some small additional costs for administration and site/state branding but very little of significance. Its this that makes the company so appealing to me. In my view we basically get to piggy back on "Rush Street" as the expand around America. Obviously in terms of profit per state it'll depend on population numbers, but, the potential is clear.
Our big American partner just recently completed their IPO, I wonder how much of the recent buying is down to this. They now have $240 million in cash to fuel expansion in the USA (as well as South America I believe) and have just gained access to 3 new states (including New York). Article below explains more.

If your unsure why this is relevant take a look at this RNS

In particular this paragraph:
"Furthermore, under the terms of the expanded agreement, Gaming Realms' Slingo Originals content will now be directly integrated into RSI's platform, eliminating the need for a distribution partner. This direct integration with RSI for all U.S. markets, including any future markets the parties may decide to enter into together, is set not only to strengthen the relationship between RSI and Gaming Realms, but to offer a stronger user experience and also enhanced margins for the Group."
Great day here, many more to come imo, interesting little write up below for those interested.

Personally starting to get pretty excited about the potential of Lucyd. Shows there's appetite for the product amongst early adopters which is great. Get these in the hands of a few social media influencers and who knows?!
Smart moves being made here imo.
From RNS;
"The acquisition of TPR does have strategic importance to the Group and will be important for the Group's future expansion plans notwithstanding the relative size of TPR"
Seems like management gearing up to start leveraging their massive user base - Higher margin revenue streams on the way.
Yep figures look good. It's early so check my maths, but looking at the difference between this and the interims to me it looks like +$0.3mil up on rev from previous 6 months has equated to +$0.27 of adjusted EBITDA so cost of these extra sales was just 10%. Obviously rough calcs but seems to imply the fixed cost base kicking in!
I think the reason so much is being returned to shareholders is because otherwise the company would have to pay millions in tax. I know what I prefer. After the payment the company will still have +2mil cash +2mil assets and all the potential it does now. With an established track record of returning value for shareholders. My dividend payment will be reinvested.
