The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
If these large buys are II's as thought, it further reduces the availability of shares on the open market. So when the drill results start filtering through over the coming months for the various different elements and sites the scramble for shares is going to lead to one heck of a spike. And when the true value of the findings is proven and calculated those holding PXC are going to be very happy investors. Patience is the name of the game here and selling out at the current levels is really only for those who need the cash. Take the long term view and returns here are likely to increase significantly. Whether it will reach a share price of £5 or £8 or more and how long that will take is anybody's guess but the opening up of the US trading market is certainly laying good foundations for the forthcoming results to be reflected in the value of our investments.
Good luck to all investors, fasten your seat belts and hold on tight !
A fairly muted response when you consider the content of the RNS . f Carlsberg did RNS, they would be proud of this one.
As I understand it there are restrictions in the US which prevent Institutions dealing in stocks regarded as penny shares. Accordingly institutions are not allowed to trade stocks with a sp of less than $1 which has to be close to the current value and will no doubt have been affecting their willingness and ability to trade..
It follows that this latest move will open up a whole new market. It doesn't take a genius to work out the likely outcome
Looking at the recent news and potential for significant increase in value its surprising how little the sp has ticked up. PXC has secured funding to continue and expand its drilling programme to prove more resource and with a payback of around year for investment in production for the Empire mine alone, the future for this firm looks quite spectacular.
Discussions on other boards including PXC suggest that a £50M market cap is a trigger for larger investors - this generally being considered a reasonable minimum value for their inclusion in investment portfolios. As GRL now approaches that trigger the stock will be coming on to the radar which is likely to further boost the sp. It might be a last opportunity for us smaller investors to fill our boots before the big money rolls in.
I just checked again and the RNS definitely stated
increased the mineable resource by 86,900 ounces of gold at depth, representing a 257% increase on the previous estimate of 33,800 ounces of gold, within the existing JORC resource
This should equate to a likewise significant increase in sp ? ???
If Carlsberg did RNS announcements this would be difficult to improve on.
In a difficult and uncertain market these interim results are exceptional and if performance continues on this trajectory this will reflect in full year figures in spring. Happy happy days
If Carlsberg did RNS announcements ....
Hard to find anything negative about VLG progress. Long term deal with China a bonus to strong, robust revenue feeds from multiple sources and increasing brand sales through major retailers.
Looking at recent posts the suggestions of selling off brands might well prove short sighted in light of the current results and more so when the significant projected sales increase is factored in. Expect this news will start moving the so towards the previous highs if not above that level but then again this is aim so who knows ?
report a 21% increase in sales revenue year-on-year for the first quarter of our financial year.
expectations for the six-month period April to September 2020 versus the same period prior year are for revenue to increase by between 75 - 85%
Precious metals tests performed on samples from the Empire open pit deposit using non-toxic ammonium thiosulfate ("ATS") reagent resulted in high gold recoveries of 97.8% and 97.7%, and silver recoveries of 69.8% and 78.2%, respectively
-- ATS reagent consumption comparable to sodium cyanide in back-to-back bench scale tests
-- This development presents the opportunity to bring forward precious metals production as there would no longer be the requirement to permit a cyanide operation
-- Pilot scale test plant now being prepared at the laboratory in Salt Lake City before commencing small scale pilot testing at Empire
Agreed. The other deals announced recently have been good but this is the first that really makes you sit up and take stock. A presence on every uk high street with a brand specialist doesn't come easy and the returns could be exponential making the long wait for current investors well worthwhile.
Excellent news deal re H&B. Best if the many recent announcements and significant progress with a major uk high st retailer sector specialist. Will this be the tipping point that'll attract major new investors ?
If I understood it correctly the eps reported is 0.02 which compares rather favourably with the current sp.
Fill your boots as this is massively undervalued in my worth nothing opinion. And that's eps for the half year !
Opti has risen so many times at slightly lower levels and fallen away again - tempting to sell - but no I held on based on the fundamentals and seriously interesting and positive news flow. So glad I wasn't victim to taking profits too early on this one. You almost begin to believe that the inevitable rise will fail to hold up. But this time, we have excellent news flow reporting a series of product developments and deals which seems to be sparking recognition of the potential for this stock. I'm resigned now to sitting back and letting it happen however bumpy the ride as its a long term winner.
Trading pattern nicely controlled by MM's with trades being lumped together. Tried dummy sells and buys to check out and no firm price available. Easier just to hold as this is not coming back down now that they've found the good stuff - and near the surface too. (IMHO)
