BigCheesy, aka Sherlock 😳
Jeez. I am not joeyBloggs!
I thought that would happen. It always does . Those that have been here a long time know that I'm not.
And in fact.
Joeybloggs - do me a favour and stop responding!
Joe nloggs
Mr Bloggs, I think calling AS a liar is a bit strong.
But it's hard to deny he doesn't present the full truth when it suits.
What's your definition of a lie, Highlandmatt?
The MO of Alan Syms appears to been when it's good news , inform the Market via RNS/ Video chat, but if it's negative don't bother - like promising to report back with an update from China last year, but didn't...is that a lie or is it just sloppy/negligent?
I suppose, as Highlandmatt says, it's up to individuals to decided what all this means and whether to hold or sell. Not ideal though.
Joey B and Techtonic are the same person and have the same agenda. I havent worked out what but could do with getting themselves removed from AS's christmas card list?
All you lot have an agenda as traders.
That is not good enough.
The comms has been vague at best to protect AS.
Accountable for what? The plan seems to be progressing. If you are concerned about timescales, most projects slip.
?? Sell at a loss ? I don’t think so.
Those accountable need to own up NOW.
It's not for me to action. However, if you think the Chairman and defacto CEO is not honest, I suggest you sell.
Are you disputing it ?
That's a pretty strong statement in writing.
Think about where this could be at led by a team with real business acumen and clout.
They could have used RNS updates and press / wider media to keep this bubbling circa £15-£20Million Market Cap as a base on potential alone.
(Which wouldn't have been out of the ordinary for a company with this potential)
It would have been in the common Psyche with more interest , and possibly bigger investors (more volume at least)
The subsequent fundraise would have been set at circa 5p rather than 2p.
The negotiating leverage with Bill Behnke's consortium at an MC of £20 Mill would have been much stronger .
The secrecy surrounding the product development is ridiculous as Patents and IP protect that side.
But instead of going all guns blazing, they've opted for control and misinformation in a negative way.
With a strong PR team , this could have been in a strong position now with a Market Cap base way above the present one .
Remember , the BoD now have misinformed about several things:
1)AS reporting back from China publicly. He said nothing (negative connotation)
2) he stated the product would hopefully be in the market in the "very near term". It isn't
3)The misleading wording about 'engaging in clinical trials'
4) Not needing a fundraise (with the potential of selling CDT shares), but producing a shock fundraise.
5) being way behind schedule from what they intimated.
All could have been SO much better and respectful to shareholders
Not in the timeframe AS suggested though.
Too many questions to fuel any investor interest.
On balance, I think the test will get to Market, but when, number of take-up, specificity/ sensitivity, final contract details are anyone's guess
A bit like the stinker Vela Technologies produced recently about the failed interest in Vela ?
Looks like Chris Hutch is getting a few trader mates on today ;o)
Hard to know where to go with this one with such infrequent news.
Could be one where they drop an amazingly good one about clinical trials/LFT/ breast cancer updates,
Or drop another out of the blue stinker that Bill and Co don't want to get the cash together.
Wasn’t having a go about the 6 month. I think re Alan Miller and who he is / I would seriously doubt that he is in the dark like us lol.
Regarding Alan Miller -just another name that adds a fishy smell from a previous experience.
(Jace: See my post on Nuformix - a big 'leaked' article in the Times, cross pollination with several present staff at CDT, a rise in price and sell off by Alan Miller)
Fastfood - I doubt your theory is correct.
Mr Miller - I would rather not have seen his name, although I have no idea of his involvement here and no idea if he had anything to do with previous leak to The Times.
To be quite honest we could do with it a decent story in The Times! Certainly boosted the share price temporarily at Nuformix.
Like with most companies, some are privy to more information than others.
The days of block selling before funding RNS showed that . Happens everywhere; corrupt markets.
Fwiw I do think the asset is extremely valuable and has major potential.
Sorry, yes I don't know why I wrote 6 months earlier. It is 4.
I do wonder if Mr Miller has any inside track whatsoever or is he like us, remaining in the dark?
And P.S. It’s a Valuable Asset worth keeping if Alan Miller remains on board, for obvs reasons. Hence the significance re why he would Notify / Confirm to the Market of his current holding.
Agree with a lot of that Tect esp re N America to Europe to China. I think Allan must have already conceded some Ground re having to include Canada in the MOU as having thought about it / surely we would prefer Trials in Proof of concept in USA so that we could Sell directly to Canada without concession ?
I may be reading too much into this but do we think that Alan Miller declaration of Shareholding was a Warning sign to the BOD / in that he may Sell up if things don’t go to his liking ? He’s obvs one of these people who are better informed than us PI’s and didn’t entirely support latest in house Share raise..
There was no legal reason for him to declare ?
But it seems as far as Ciz is concerned, we will only be given crumbs of info when they like
Even the recent French MABS news release was simply re-tweeted .
As we've seen with this non-disclosure of 100kreceipt , Ciz is a secretive firm, unfriendly to shareholders.
I reckon when this one 120 day negotiation period is over, we won't hear a thing.
They'll leave the shareholders to guess and fumble around in the dark, asking questions, wondering if it's an investable company. From past experience I doubt they will inform about scaling up progress or start of clinical trials.
Very very difficult to understand an investment with no data updates.
I'd say it's not an investment, it's just a guess on a hunch.
Still in with my fifth, but it hasn't got a great feel about it.
Regarding the MOU - the cards are all with BIO.
Without the contract, Ciz has nothing in America (that doesn't involve massive investment/ dilution). It has no access to hospitals or the health network.
Without America, it doesn't have China (which previously stated, I am fairly sure is a write off anyway), and without America, there is no clear path to development in UK /Europe.
America holds all the cards here, and this period of negotiation - I'm half expecting Ciz to concede further ground.
But the overall picture is one of muddiness and murk for shareholders.
I don't think I've come across a company that's been so secretive; Ciz want to control the agenda and news to an almost Statist level, leaving shareholders to fumble around in the dark.
Why??
Why do they care if it's traded? Why do they care if this share price spikes up?
Ultimately if it works and gets to Market that won't matter, and at least it would give shareholders something to get their teeth into and understand - maybe even to trade! That's what we're in! A MARKET.
But it seems as far as
In my unfortunate perpetual bad experiences of MOU’s ever materialising into something Real / and as per what was originally set out / Then I have to say that this one has a relatively short Timeline being 120 days. 4 Months as opposed to 6 Month is welcome. Also / re the HNWI / I think 3 to 4 Months is Minimum Timeline they may need to get their Finance into place as we are pre Clinical Trials. If we were Post Clinical Trials then we would be in a different place for better or worse.
I found it strange how Allan played his hand re disclosing Terms of the MOU re payments as the HNWI have the stronger hand as it’s pre Clinical Trials and we don’t have the Finance. So who are we to dictate the Terms ? There must have been Agreement re the Framework and all parties happy to disclose before RNS released. But so long as Allan is Non Negotiable on those MINIMUM payments and the Contract Completes / then I’d be highly satisfied.
