Spare a prayer for those lost in the quake last night, and hope many are recovered from the destruction alive.
Many live humble lives in small villages etc, that are built from stone & cements that cannot tolerate much from mother nature, and often result in collapse.
They will recover from it, but as the hosting country to Chariots good fortune and discoveries, we should off a prayer and hope from this unfortunate event.
Horrible news for morocco
“PS Off out into garden, time to prune the wife's bush by hand, …. “
Too much information NewKOTB and what will your neighbours think?! 😳
I think the perfect scenario for all here would be to sell the company. I would be happy with 50p.
With the team struggling to get us out of the starting blocks they I think that they would also struggle to deal with the probable politics further down the road even if/when we have it all signed off.
IMO a bigger player would obviously have much more weight to push things along.
Ianfer,
Morning,
Yep, garden was best place to be yesterday rather than watching lackluster performance of our SP... ;-)
My concerns are twofold. Firstly the longer 'our' gas remains underground the more chance it will stay there, why I hear you all ask. For me all about environmental headwinds, these grow stronger day by day not only impacting FID but also RBL if required as we all know banks are turning away from hydrocarbon investment en-mass, it's all about ROI for all concerned.
The other point is ONHYM, how long are they prepared to wait for Chariot to get this project off the ground and into production. It appears 'presently' that CHAR have the backing of ONHYM (recent licence issued) but could easily change for numerous reasons, after all, this is Africa !
If CHAR have a deal on the table find a way to make it work for all asap .... remember when doing a deal all parties want to think they have a great deal, not just one. Compromise is the only game in town atm, otherwise we could well see ourselves frozen out for good.
Been holding CHAR for farrrrr to long, she has been my temptress for many years, about time she repaid us all.
PS Off out into garden, time to prune the wife's bush by hand, not with one of those hand-held battery powered devices but old fashioned shears, may also need the lopper's as its not been touched my me for many a year.... wish me luck !!!

Good morning Ian
Hope your head isn’t too sore mixing your drinks like that 😅
This time next year you could be sipping champagne on my boat 😍🍾🥂🛥️
I've been out in the garden all day in very hot sunshine. Obviously disappointed when I came in to see we are only 13.42 at close so I'm now having my tea with some Merlot after a large Jack Daniels Honey Whisky. I am again looking at the slides for the AGM presentation which I have to say look very professional and I keep thinking what on earth can go wrong? This has the ingredients for a very successful Company showing a good profit with handsome dividends within 2/3 years. The Gas is there. What would be advantageous for the BOD to drag this out for several more months? At 13.5p if the market was still open I would top up some more. Have a great weekend All and let's watch the sp rise from this silly level to 30/40p over the next few weeks. I predict 40p by Christmas. I think Gooner will have his yacht for next year!
A fair number of A (automatic) trades gone through today, which are likely stops being kicked in at the 13.5p mark..
Well if that crystal ball shows anything then you could atleast release your very own RNS lol..There seems to be another seller over the last few days but I hope you're earlier post regarding another share issue is off the mark but wont surprise me if it does. Had to laugh reading some comments on not having another time frame/deadline to target,so basically that means whenever it ever lands which could mean months or years,as they cant be held accountable then for another failed deadline. 😒😒😒
Hi Surety
It’s impossible to know but we will certainly know when they do exit!
I will be keeping an eye on my crystal ball to try and stay ahead and sell some before them then buy some back on the drop.
Unless of course they are selling because we have a problem 😬
The attractiveness of Chariot....

How much more dilution is required to drill for those prospects? They might drill further in anchois...... Where does the money come from??
Hopefully a farm out (which is also a dilution... 🤔) but hopefully no more share issues. Not a fan of 1 billion shares in use.....

One of the reason for the delay in finalizing the partnership agreement is
"Duncan Wallace is keep on finding more GAS and that should factored in the valuation of our assets as well as the development cost of the project "
More gas and higher value of our assets.
I'm happy to wait 🙏
Likewise Surety.
Just chipping in with tuppence worth.
Ps could be interesting to keep an eye on SS7 next quarterly update compared to last with regards to work back log figures?
Rgds Sft
Bit old information as in May 23
But it does show SS7 are busy and very busy in 2025 for pipeline and Subsea umbilical installation ops.
So there is a very definite timeline required for getting contracts/commitments and putting cash down for ALL parts of the project(s).
Both Schlumberger and SS7 can not magic Eng's and personnel out of thin air (industry shortage as it is), so the BoD need to get it done.

Just for clarity, I am heavily invested here and have continued to add .. which I think I've said repeatedly..
I was just curious to know what Gooner was thinking.. ;-)

GP I'm pretty sure you are correct about what C&A know. They had 12% between them worth £20m a short time ago. They may have more now. They may be connected. Their notifications were so close together timewise was a bit of a coincidence... or not? Nick11 may be doing the right thing. Several on here talking about selling and many others doing that according to the trades shown, keeping the sp down. So many things now on the edge and no bad news. The delays are not bad news but testing patience.
**apologies for typo “ Anyone doing so is making an emotional decision based on the current share price and nothing else, and is NOT looking at the bigger picture. “
FWIW, my view is this will either go way past 50p or nowhere near it. For the price to reach 50p (and imo, beyond) then what we are waiting on re Anchois re Farm In, FiD, GSA etc will have come to fruition, in which case, baling out at 50p would mean leaving before production begins. Why would people do that when all the risk is gone?
It’s one thing setting “top slicing targets” but as I’ve said previously it’s dangerous and silly to set sell out price targets when you’re waiting for news. How can you set a price target when you have no idea what each of the above pieces of news will look like? Anyone doing so is making an emotional decision based on the current share price and nothing else, and looking at the bigger picture.
If you don’t like the big picture or don’t trust what the BoD are tell you, the time to sell is now imo.
GL
Where's your view on their exit price, Gooner?
I've taken this as an opportunity to top up. The SP is very low given the fundamentals haven't changed.
I reckon they are chilled KB. They will have privileged info with an exit price and I don’t think it’s 50p!
One wonders how Covalis and Askar might be feeling about their recent investment in chariot🤔
I have two other Oilers in my risky PF - Zephyr and COPL. I always considered Chariot as the less risky one of these three(its all relative!) but on balance I am leaning towards further supporting these other two at the expense of Chariot. Trust is a massive factor in investing and at present my trust has been lost here - its the lack of sharing the cash runway that clinches this decision - without a strawman view they are relying on pure trust and I dont see that as the case in my other 2 oilers (well, Zephyr anyway!).
I wish you all the very best of good fortune here and wanted to say thank you to all contributors - it is an excellent BB.
