NewKOTB are some of these not Bed & ISA's?
Onsolidground as confirmed by myoung it is definitely SDX who are using the rig and Chariot have it next
Hi Jimmy if you could add me I would be very grateful. Username is nickshaw11.
Thanks, Nick
Good research and may explain things although all talks of hitting the bottom and a bounce are premature when looking at the intra day SP. Plummeting again! Some people really are burying their head in the sand
The page is confusing as it’s gives two different dates. Is it worth emailing investor relations asking them to clarify. I can do it in the morning if no one is able to this evening
Looking at the spread from the time it looks like a buy. Either way it has made zero difference to the SP :-(
Hi Whimax. Ok let’s agree to disagree. I think the SP clearly shows the market doesn’t like the deal (you were initially claiming the fall in the SP was actually nothing to do with the deal at all).
Your position as you’ve stated several times is that you don’t believe the market doesn’t like the deal.
We both ultimately want the same thing so let’s move on. I would just say though it is possible to have concerns about a SP yet still overall be optimistic for the future. Just because people raise concerns shouldn’t mean they must sell up and go away. Although I do think people who suggest the board are all corrupt etc should definitely sell up! lol
Apologies Whimax for the "daily price commentary" on here. I forgot we must never express our disappointment even if we have lost significant amounts in the value of our share holdings. I am sure you are usually one of the first to commentate of the price when it is going up though. I said before i wasn't looking to argue but you can't help but make snide remarks for no reason.
I seem to recall you were initially suggesting this fall was due to the MM's deliberately manipulating the price. Now you are convinced its a single seller. Do you not accept it could just be the market don't think its good deal? Even the best poster on here, Jimmy, accepted the deal was disappointing.
Whimax I'm certainly not having a go or criticising you. I admire your optimism. To say the share price is "completely and utterly irrelevant" though is ridiculous. It is of course highly relevant.
How low could this realistically go especially given we are not expecting news for a month or two now? Even the most optimistic people on here (Whimax etc) surely must be getting concerned?
Not looking for an argument just interested in different perspectives.
Ajilimon your posts are often bang on and very informative but I have to disagree here. AP will be annoyed the SP is at 10p. This was at about 26p last year. There is no way this is what would have been envisaged back then. Or when there was a raise at 18p or when there was a raise at 14p. We can pretend the SP doesn’t matter but it really does especially when fund raising is needed
This just gets worse and worse and worse and at the same time the BOD are helping themselves to free shares. I'm in it for the long haul but certainly the most despondent I've been since the discovery.
Grant of deferred shares. I appreciate its a pre agreed annual thing but hard not to get annoyed
Hi Whimax. Thanks for your detailed response. I think we will have to agree to disagree about whether the market likes the deal or not. I try to focus on the basics. The SP tanked since the deal so i can't see how we can claim any different.
I know you think its probably one big investor selling but on the day you were also saying you thought it was simply market manipulation. I worry you're trying to convince yourself of positive reasons why the SP has tanked.
On the other hand I hope you are correct that its just one investor getting out. If so things may turn soon.
This is pretty depressing waking up each morning and seeing how many thousand I’ve lost. Whimax do you at least now accept the market doesn’t like the deal?
Could we see single figures today? Honestly can’t believe what I’m seeing. Let’s not pretend that anyone expected this.
That should say Gooner not Boomer 😂 although maybe you’re both?!
Boomer I think the majors probably were interested but probably didn’t make an offer as attractive as Energean. I guess it works like anything else where the slightly smaller companies have to make a more attractive offer than the majors to get the contract. Would add though I don’t have any experience of deals in the context of O&G
Some chunky buys in the last half hour. SP recovering from -23% to -13%. Where will we end up?
Whimax I love your enthusiasm for this share and I really do hope you're right but as I type this we were 23.3% down (although appreciate its bouncing about a lot). I think Veteran is bang on. The market doesn't like the deal because it pushes first gas back to 2026 and still leaves significant risks between now and then.
