Tradey
Why are you going to such length to prop up your narrative with Debenhams???
When last report what percentage of boohoos revenue was it??
Banging on about something that a single figure percentage of boohoos reducing revenue.
Wheres the relevance???
"When last report what percentage of boohoos revenue was it??

Oh deary me😂😂
Indeed SCB
Tradey banging on about a nothingness.
Boohoo fiddling whilst Rome burns
Southcoast amongst other things it seems that superzero doesn't understand the difference between GMV, revenue and margin
Pmsl
What’s wrong with statement from SHS? He’s correct in what he said about Debenham’s revenue. Of course you could look at GMV instead but that would be somewhere between meaningless and stupid. Besides if that was (inappropriately) considered as revenue then of course the gross margin figure would absolutely tank. At the moment though I think from memory that the gross margin figure (based on the correct definition of revenue) for Debenhams is comparable with the other parts of BOO - of around 50%?
No - by doing that it’s apples and apples - which I why they do it.
Twist tradey.
When the loses are reported this week am sure all the focus will be on Debenhams as you have today
All time hive loses won't read well.
Focus on Debenhams and let the rest burn
And Debenhams last reported margin was just under 49% so not better as you claim than the other brands. If they did include the overall price of the goods and not just their cut of the income (ie THEIR revenue) then that margin would probably be less than 10%.
Now that really would be apple and oranges (not pears as it has nothing to do with stairs).
Just imagine... Hexam allegedly advises businesses..... Deary me.
Wrong Hexam, so here is a simple reason why.
All the other brands revenue is before cost of sales. Debenhams is commission only in the revenue line . So a more realistic comparison would be net revenue not gross.
Anyway I'm intrigued how superzero knows it is still a single digit proportion of revenue. As the extract below shows, Debenhams is growing rapidly. It also now makes up ,c20% of group website views.
Strong GMV growth was achieved within the Debenhams marketplace, with its increase as a proportion of Group revenue accounting for 2 percentage points of the decline given the Group only recognises commission income on marketplace sales.
What I am saying is perfectly correct so not sure what that jibe is about especially as you and T4G are the ones making yourselves look silly. And besides I have never advised businesses - just another one of your misunderstandings to add to a very long list (along with the appropriate figure to use of revenue).
So T4G - you are happy then if I say Debs has a margin of under 10%? Laughable.
What you are saying isn't true Hexam imho.
I sincerely hope you don't advise businesses if you are unable to challenge a stupid assertion that Boo has somehow gone through £290m whilst stating a couple of months ago that trading was in line with market expectations!
How big is the loss going to be??
"Analysts at Peel Hunt said they expected Boohoo to experience substantial margin recovery in a couple of years "
"Analysts at Peel Hunt said they expected Boohoo to experience substantial margin recovery in a couple of years "
Well that may be right or not but Dont you normally tell us analysts dont have a clue boasty?
Do be consistent please.
Drubbing them one day then lording them as correct the day after.
Besides "expected" doesnt mean its fact, a couple more years with zero profits will leave them having to repay the rcf from what exactly?

Still waiting for you to answer.
Do you still think it was worth selling (Mears) MER at 152p as per your recommendation? They're now at 369p. You tried bashing those Mears shares but they kept on rising. I know you're always right so it would be funny to see how you defend this recommendation. Just answer the question please.
Wow an 8 share UT to trash the sp
I literally think I have seen it all now
Some momentum building here. Always positive just before results. Let’s hope the market is turning bullish on BOO
uncle doug,
he is unlikely to face any of his **** ups head on. just bury them under the carpet as it goes against the belief in his mind that he his one of life winners.
the reality is the only thing he has is argueing on here and taking his dog for a walk. oh and his air fix.
Still laughing too much doug thinking of those £3.78 buys.
Still waiting for you to comfirm your holding and average.

"dont want to know my exact position at the moment, but i recon Rover owes me roughly £70k in total at the moment over my two pots. I owe mr trump a bop on the nose."
Do you live on the south coast near Dorset boasty?
Plenty of ancient old fossils about there in the sand.
Likely more modern than some of the posts you enjoy digging up too.
