The balance sheet will be looking much healthier if we get £50m plus for Burnley. Our big expense of Warehousing has been consolidated, EBITDA grows at double digits and fixed costs reduce under £100m as guided. The big unknown which could come about sooner than we think is De-minimis legislation being brought forward. I can see the likes of Reform abolishing this loophole straight away if they come into power. Who knows where this would go then as we are likely to be one of the biggest beneficiarys to this.

Expecting both recent developments at Frasers to be declined. Would expect the next targets to be Debenhams and ASOS.

Sounds like the Burnley sale is nearing completion too.

Highly unlikely he will get BOSS with a mere 4% premium paid. As some of the articles are mentioning this is free publicity for both Frasers and Boss to keep their names being mentioned and attract attention. The most likely targets are no doubts DEBS and ASOS in their more precarious financial positions and depressed share prices. Dan has done the dirty work and heavy lifting here so I would not be surprised at all if Mike decides to swoop.

I agree LD. It appears Mahmud and the rest of the clan have been silenced which is great news for all shareholders. Dan and his team are building a strong business, it's just a shame he did not get the role sooner as there is no doubt we all would have been in a far stronger position than where we sit today.

This could hit the 30s very quickly. Insolvency risk has all but evaporated. Will diminish even further after Burnley has been sold. The group is back in growth, margin is improving and fixed costs are down over £200m. More licensing deals imminent too.

Great news. Whoever signed that deal in the first place should be ashamed of themselves. A huge waste of funds.
