Interesting times here. Ashley is not renowned for paying any kind of premium. In fact he is much more inclined to push his narrative to sell Frasers + and other synergies which can benefit his group. Either that tact or force into admin and pick up the bits he wants for peanuts. However you dice it up, these are bargain basement prices...

The market is going to start waking up to DEBS Group. The amount of tech partnerships and AI (in particular) , the streamlined business model and efficiencies that are being deployed are likely to yield some significant results. It's clear that we will be the pioneers in embracing AI in the online digital retail world. I am interested to see what some of these siginifcant licensing opportunities will look like. I am eagerly awaiting the next update in March.

There could be a big bounce coming here, especially if preferential terms are given regarding our financing agreement.

Debenhams will be a force here in the UK. In the right hands it will be worth £1billion standalone. That's not even mentioning all the other businesses and brands that fall under the Debenhams Group umbrella. These prices will start to look silly cheap with net debt falling under 1x EBITDA. This was sprinting towards administration before Dan stepped in and the has not yet been re-priced to show survival and growth which I am confident is on it's way.

Excellent result and shows a real confidence in the turnaround. I am anticipating further buys from the likes of Kane and other memebers of the non exec team to sure up the share price. If we get £40m for Burnley + the gross proceeds of the fundraise going off the last update of net debt at £111m this would now see us at a massively reduced net debt down to £32.3m this is not taking into account the better than expected trading performance so could well be lower.

No news yet from Frasers...I would be surprised if they do not support the raise as they will want to maintain their position of power just like the last time.

We have a long old road back to recovery here. However, i do believe Dan Finley is absolutely the right man for the job. It's also another show of faith that he is not scared to put his hands in his pockets to support the raise. There are several levers the Bod can pull here to steer the ship. I'm glad that we are keeping all of our core brands and take some positives that the fund raise is close to yesterdays closing price. Let's see what happens from here.

Where’s the RNS? It’s all part of the growth plan and a cost of keeping PLT. Looks like we will get much better terms with re-financing too. Just need Burnley to be sold for a pretty penny.
