I meant as a trader. Obviously, for some of us non-traders we are still way down on our Investment. But not forever. Lol.
It's not down to Kurt. It's the Swedish bureaucrats who have allowed you to profit, due to their disastrous management of this application process. Hopefully, their crap will now stop. Cheers Maddog.
ibjj/ if you were a trader when bem hit 14 briefly the first thing you would do is remove most of your investment i.e and gamble with the profits, but as it happen the share went down so what a true investor did was buy back in with the profit l and a lot of investor made profit out of the drop , like edd l am well up out of bem and l now hold 60% more shares than when l started, so thanks KURT
Just shows how hard he is working for us, and an example that clearly he is making every effort to include the Sami as we move forward. Good stuff.
Thanks Tintin. Very pleased that Kurt attended. Cheers.
You only appear to pop up when the sp is either static or on the slide, so I guess that's why you are hardly ever away. Lol. However, for all the sellers here on AIM, an accumulation continues on the Aktie. If this project was never to be given approval, then I may suggest that nobody in Sweden would be bothering. Accumulation would be most bizarre behaviour indeed. We don't have their insight lb, and I believe that says much. If we weren't dual-listed then the picture would, on the surface, look quite grim. But we are, and, based on their appetite for our shares, it doesn't look grim at all. Far from it. In my opinion. We have also, so Kurt believes, met the legal criteria for the concession. Tick. It's only a question of a little more time then. The funnel is closing and, thankfully, we aren't still here based only on a wild hunch. Lol. The Swedish election excuse is over with, nobody else to officially have their say, our application being sound, no-one being able to specifically point to where it is defective. No directly detrimental impact from our "green" operation on anything. This is the exact opposite of a blot on Kurt's CV. In my view. Have a good weekend.
Ed...you've traded this very successfully...well done. I'm not a trader, I've just stuck to this one because I believe in the long term...but it's been a trader's paradise for those willing to take the risk, it isn't that easy to do it As for wasted opportunities....I haven't missed any, they could have been well avoided risks, eg MATAD, Bao, Rare Earth Metals, I know Ibjj had a crack at at least one of those. atb
Hi Suzy
Your posts look as though you are talking to yourself as I have your adversary blocked but I can guess who it is.
Nice to know that you are in the break even zone. You're one of the few. I'm in good shape as I've sold on the false dawns and bought back in on the crashes umpteen times. I started with £30,000 worth and now have just over £425,000 worth.
I've been tempted to sell out on a number of occasions but I can't bring myself to do it. However, If nothing happens I will start to sell out on my upcoming 75th birthday or the big announcement, whichever comes first and I'll give the money to our daughters and our 5 grandchildren :-)
Enjoy your weekend
I'm witching here. Lol
I'm witching here...why are you so enchanted? Lol
"Does your break even analysis take account of inflation over 8 years and opportunity cost?" What are talking about and what a silly question you asking, lbjj? Did you forget that you are on the board of the most "serious investors"? Off course they all have taken in account inflation, money and years of wasted time, all other investment opportunities and guess what else - the compounded effect of many years dividend payments paid by any 100 blue chip companies. This is why she is witching here together with an other her charlatan beer fun stuck here to become multimillionaires yet in an other 10 years time. Lol
Does your break even analysis take account of inflation over 8 years and opportunity cost?
What better use you could have made of the money which has been languishing in BEM for all those years. Time wasted rather than used profitably.
Recommend whatever you like...I'm all ears. One thing though, you've lost money here big time and I am currently in a break even situation. I make that 1-0.
Irrelevant, Suzy.
What I don’t understand is you have invested for many years in this company, presumably to turn a profit at some point, and yet you continually pose as an apologist for the inept swedes and a CEO, who is a good egg, yes, but has done nothing to realise your required profit.
What’s another few weeks is your battle cry. I would recommend a less passive and unjustifiably excitable analysis of the stultifying reality of your investment.
In what respect is he your CEO, ibjj?
Time to be completely objective and dispassionate about our CEO, who is no different from any other CEO in the way he must be judged.
And that is on results.
Thus far, there have been no results in his entire tenure. And what is more, no identifiable timetable for any either.
Time has become Kurt’s enemy and will be his downfall if this is not concluded very soon.
We should be behind him now, you can't push governments around and I have every confidence that he can bring this to a good conclusion very soon. There are many signs and the OECD report is one of them, another piece in place.
Kurt’s attempt to raise his profile in the commercial world, as Beowulf is becoming a big blot on his CV.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development is an intergovernmental economic organisation with 36 member countries, founded in 1961 to stimulate economic progress and world trade.
This is a influential think tank, based in Paris.
Kurt on linked in;
Back from a busy 3-day trip to Sweden, the highlight of which was meeting senior members of the Sami Parliament at the OECD "seminar launching the report" Linking the Indigenous Sami People with Regional Development in Sweden ". We will be studying the report in detail and, as we develop our Kallak project, finding ways in which we can implement the report's findings in our operations. #oecd #regionaldevelopment #indigenouspeoples #opportunity #makeapositivedifference
Certainly no progress reported..... not even a rumour about a rumour.... so waiting wont kill us... cos we are holding and not letting go.... having no deadline as an investor certainly helps... GLA Brick
Corridors of wimpishness.
Thank you Sooz. Yes, I'm not happy about how this investment has evolved so far, but one can only keep trying. We know the iron is there and that our Company is soundly run. Weirdest investment ever, insofar as everything is spot on except the way in which Sweden is conducting itself with regard to our sector. Mind scrambling. I can see my way to comfort eating another crunchie bar tomorrow I reckon. Lol. Evie. x
Of course it is Friday tmorrow and who knows what might have been discussed in the corridors of power today ! Wish I could say that with some sincerity though 😅
