Although the whole MEN /PL holding does come to mind
There is hardly enough of a free float for major investors to participate LORDWM.
the whole placement and timing smells somewhat. do current investors get to take advantage of eis x (twitter) says those who participated in last fund raise. if you bought in the open market after the fund raise what's the score?.
correct me if i am wrong but to build out these 3 projects is close to 1 billion $$$, there is a cap on annual investment for eis which quite frankly is a **** in the wind in relation to monies required.
so eis and project finance don't seem to me to add up. the company has enough money to get to fid, if successful stock should be worth £1.50 + a new fund raise at some point to add working capital say 5m will happen to see out the 3 build outs.
As Lord says aimed at more high net worth individuals, claim u tax back.
I suspect Atome will be on a list of stocks of interest for high net worth individuals, may be recommended by their advisors. Suspect we need the FID/project finance and offtake details first, but this could contribute to make the SP move very fast when the economics become clearer.
Widens amount investors 4 company, encorouge more investors, claim tax back of up million pounds invested, that's my understanding.
I have to confess I do not fully understand the potential consequences of this anyone have an idea of why the company has applied for this. As I understand the company is fully funded to FID with project finance looking achievable with no need for stock dilution any accountants out there?
Back above placing level
Sorry I meant interest in the stock, my bad, poor wording. But yes good points too!
I think the reason there is massive interest in the financing is not because it's a green company or the demand of the fertiliser it's the carbon credits that they will generate which alone is currently worth $50 million dollars a year!!... and this will be in more demand in the future.
Interest definitely increasing. ADV last ~1M is c. 150k shares, and ADV last ~3M/6M is c. 70k shares. Problem is the equity market will never give credit to companies like this until there is strong evidence of imminent cash flow generation. But it seems we are close, I am long.
Looks like men formally ppc on its knees, bad drill, game up there,
IDB INVEST CONSIDERS FINANCING GREEN HYDROGEN PROJECT IN PARAGUAY (February 23, 2024, By Matías Medinilla)
The Inter-American Investment Corporation is analyzing the loan of up to USD $125,000,000 (£100m) for the ATOME firm's power plant, which will be located in the city of Villeta and will be associated with a 120 MW renewable park.
The Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) has long expanded access to financing and supported projects to advance clean energy that have a significant impact and contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
And the beginning of this year is no exception since the private sector solutions bank of Latin America and the Caribbean analyzes a new plant intended for the production of green hydrogen, in this case in Paraguay.
The project called “Hydrogen, Ammonia and Green Fertilizers Production Plant – PARAGUAY”, by the firm ATOME, has already been published on the IDB Invest website, within the list of projects that came under analysis ( see more ).
It will use 100% renewable energy from an associated plant of approximately 120 MW of installed capacity and the loan considered (not yet approved) is up to USD $125,000,000.
The plant will be installed on a property of approximately 30 hectares that belongs to ATOME, located in the city of Villeta, near the eastern bank of the Paraguay River, 50 km south of the city of Asunción, next to the Villeta-Alberdi highway. and the Buey Rodeo electrical substation.
And to date, ATOME already has the respective environmental license granted by the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development of Paraguay, which is valid for construction, but is being expanded to include the production chain.
And once in operation, the plant will have a useful life of approximately 25 years and will produce green fertilizers on an industrial scale (approximately 270,000 tons/year), from the electrolysis of water and the use of dolomite (173 tons/day).
Next steps of the process
The Inter-American Investment Corporation will analyze the multimillion-dollar loan during the next few months of the year and it is estimated that, if the process is positive, approval will not be given until July 30, 2024.
So, in a nutshell, ATOM is three months away from a significant inflection point - where it's valuation is pretty much likely to quadruple from today's prices. It's therefore not surprising that Schroders keep adding at these 'fire sale' prices.
Incredible opportunity!

.
I think it's small scale by comparison. People may be able to make it in small scale close to source, but can;t think this will happen a lot. Atome are buying huge amounts of green energy to run 24/7. All we need them to do is execute the plan and we'll be rich!
Still, we are the only London listed green whatever company as we are often told, for how long listening to the malcy wood interview., toys are starting to come out of the pram
Didn't know we had that many competitors and possibly why Iceland isn't mentioned anymore 🤔
Asume increase from placing, good there adding but little choice bring there average down or be sitting on big loss.
It's a great endorsement that schroders keep buying shares everyday and you can tell by the volume in the recent charts it's constant, unfortunately most of these trades come under unknown usually 25k/50k so the share price is static!!
Sorry Its actually 67%, pl has his shares held in other vehicles, but still tightly held by the big uns
What's interesting about atome is 85% of shares are now held by institutions or directors, the other 15%( 6 million shares est) are pi's or unclaimed so when this Company gets finally noticed it will move rapidly
Sounds like they took the whole placement then ???
