Can't get all article but :-UK-based green fertilizer developer Atome looks to secure World Bank group funds for its US$630mn, 145MW Villeta project in Paraguay.

The proposed financing package would be for up to US$110mn from the World Bank's private lending arm IFC, specifically A and C loans for up to US$30mn each, and a concessional subordinated loan from IFC as an accredited entity of the Green Climate Fund of up to US$50mn.

Villeta is designed to produce up to 270,000t/y of green calcium ammonium nitrate, a low-carbon fertilizer.

The project would reduce farmers' reliance on gray alternatives in Paraguay and the wider region, and will demonstrate the commercial viability of green fertilizers, according to IFC.

The lender highlights there is low governance risk as the "sponsor is committed to the project and management is professional with extensive experience in the industry."

The financing package is scheduled to go before IFC's board on September 30.

BNamericas previously reported that Atome also looks to secure financing from the European Investment Bank.

ATOME has moved from a standing start to being “at the forefront of the green fertiliser industry within four years"...... More like standing start to having having a sleepy lie down!!

Hopefully this reaction is a wake up call that investors aren't buying into side shows and constant monthly presentations, saying it's villeta is over subscribed indeed !!.the time for d*cking about is over! .

I'm trying to read between the lines of thr rns. Several times it mentions H2 clean fund will become anchor and lead investor committing 100-115 million , now we all assumed this was supposed tobe idb's role, so does that mean they are out or committing alot less to the project as they have been dragging their heels to long, and I think it personally it was wrong of atome to be courting them so long without getting a large rival finance to push the project , but I'm glad these guys are on board and let's see what Olivier says and fingers crossed for an actual on schedule April rns.

Good detective work. There has been abnormal high trading here for several weeks ,yesterday I tried comparing the biggest shareholders to former holdings. But I failed to find anything probably because there's a holding lag . Clear power were stuck just under 3% so wouldn't trigger any rns if they were off loading

There's lots tobe excited about, terms look to be fair with idb increasing the amount they're willing to lend, I do think the share might slide for the next cpl of weeks though, until the week of idb board meeting then will rerate again, then hopefully shovels will be in shortly afterwards

If we going to holding that long, it must be going to be a good dividend share then!! ;)

Actually it's the opposite it's on more 'favorable terms than originally envisaged' , sorry I currently can't find the quote source it was in the last week though , unless it was from the other forum where someone had accidentally been gained access to sensetive idb info via Dropbox and now has had every comment removed

The problem is the news isn't new it's been on the idb website for over a week, so the price will still continue declining until concrete funding is revealed

I might need my eyes checking has the finance amount changed from 125k to 200 million? That's enough for about 400 plants!!!
