The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
in my view the share wont be doing much this year until we get E.U grant approval , which i think is the biggest motor of AEG as it gives us credibility and backing to build plants and go places , otherwise its lumberton revenue for next year according to dr m figures around $3million (the only figures we have), the plant we probably be set up for sept/october so no real revenue this year and maybe theyll get around to construct more plants for next year when we have an income .
I don't expect anything from newfoundland as we dont have the finances to do things and will probably loose the licence in the medium term.
yes it was silly but apt , on a more serious note we have 26 months to prove ourselves or we loose the newfoundland licence , we arent currently building any plants as we dont have the finance todo so and an rns last year did say we are LOOKING into getting plants/parts built , but looking and doing are completely different , thats why an actual number of how may we ARE going to built has never been stated , i personally think the polish superfuel is the only engine we have , so fingers crossed
the statement Anybody want to buy a woodworking company in Newfoundland making kitchen cabinets?? must be posted on the wrong board as aeg would never ever spend any money on equipment make them . what aeg can do is design a kitchen , take the money and say they'll be around next week to fit them , then maybe the week after or the following week or the week after and stop taking calls ,its very good at doing that !
nice find , shame about johns smiths comment (like some people on here) , i like this:-
Spinks said he will take the next week to speak with everyone involved with the project locally before releasing more details to the media. .....so hopefully nice pr and a plan in the next couple of weeks
Actually thinking about it , its rather odd that a government minster would ring a newspaper(they dont like them only for good publicity) and say something as sensitive as this and derail everything , they would go to the company and sort it out on the hush hush, im now thinking its malicous on someones part .........i still dont like our ceo , hes not the face for aeg or user friendly
https://www.gulfnews.ca/news/regional/trading-on-active-energy-group-temporarily-suspended-until-status-of-forestry-permits-confirmed-for-northern-peninsula-261769/
The Northern Pen contacted Active Energy CEO Michael Rowan for comment yesterday but has not yet been given a response............................. whos head is going to roll ?? , if a paper or journalist is about to tank your company , how about some pr and respond !!
im surprised we haven't had another announcement today :/,.If it wasn't done in the right pen , im sure it will have by tomorrow by being fast tracked as it will be extremely bad to the integrity to everyone involved and untold damage to reputations , then it will be onward and upward. .....a fingers crossed share still
this happened a few months back rumours of a placing , which turned out to be false as we have alternative funding for projects the board told us , unfortunately the price was alot higher the and not bouncing on new lows as it is now
if ctl is rejected its no biggie as we haven't made any plants or parts for any projects and probably got no supplier (we would probably get an rns if we do ) , we have gained a few air miles which is great we can get a nice upgrade sometime :) . AEG strategy is like having the winning lottery numbers but not buying a ticket until its drawn !
Their job is 1-generate income , 2-- make a profit , 3 make deals to make more profit and 4 generate share holder value , not just do the deals part. yes they are damned if they stay silent as they not making parts or plants and yes they are damned if they speak as they not making parts or plants and THAT IS the reason the share is bouncing merrily along the bottom for all of us to admire !
i love the product, technology and the endless possibilities and drmaccers forecasts can be obtained , but i think the the silence from the board is saying something else , why no progress updates and plans ? if it was me i would be banging my drum on everything not the its close and soon, repeat we are getting , i just the think the board are not what we need . r spinks great guy and we all love him is the only voice we hear but we need action not words , i once held shares in a mining company and we hung on every word the ceo said(great guy we loved him) , he ended up selling the crown jewel for pittance to glencore they made a fortuneout of as they knew what to do .......................yes im frustrated
2 years ago newfoundlander started saying nasty things like it wont happen ect and our response was fierce and ran him out of town , now we are thinking hmm fingers crossed you aren't right!
so in the last year we got young living order , how many plants 1 or 2 ? no we just use pilot plant maybe ,
poland super fuel , so good it was tested twice how many plants? capacity ? no we use pilot plant maybe
asia they want our stuff brilliant just use pilot plant oh scrub that too far too send
s hit switch , we just use pilot plant or just talk it , same result.
we all rejoice when there's no placing , but this indicates we aren't going to build any plants and should the nfl deal land , we will have nothing ready to go in place as the board have done nothing at all to get going and when they think about how to go about it , it'll take nearly 2 years or even longer as we wont borrow money , any proactive company would of said a year ago if you dont want us we'll go to plan B ,maybe like buying out rentech for less than $2 million who have forests galore , infrastructure ports mills ect ready to go .
The current strategy of board wait for nfl deal with their fingers crossed they get taken over by somebody big to get anything done !!
Hku is a longterm share holder , who like many of us has been let down by aeg in the past , so has a right to look on the downside, he might be too pessimistic for my liking , but does believe in what the company is trying todo and that why he’s here and not sold out when he could have easily done and it’s great he managed to buy at these low levels which unfortunately I couldn’t do .
