really starting to motor! I am not sure where the SP gets its energy from but it is positively humming along. There is a sea change in investor sentiment here. I will beach my idea of waiting for a retrace and maybe sell some elsewhere to buy here before the ship sails. It's climbing at a rate of knots currently.
about to go and broken important resistance at 46p still no sellers only buyers
Atlantis are trying to get the government to look again at support for Meygen/tidal energy after the 'unbalanced' approach they took at the last auction. They are trying to get letters of support sent out by investors, public etc. They have a pro-forma which you can obtain from cameron.smith@atlantisresourcesltd.com. So if you are interested in being involved please contact them and pass this around. Cheers
can't last. A steady procession of buys and we are moving to full ask. 44 or 45p ask has to be on the way.
Morning Steffan. I got a dilemna myself. I hate buying in on a spike but these should be much higher. I amsurprised it hasn't gone higher really but I guess it is only a firm intention. Maybe I should buy just a few to tide me over?
Now we just need to add some solar with Redt's hybrid redox flow energy storage machines, which the boss of Atlantis has already researched, they will then have their own micro grid on each island. More to come onboard I'm sure. GLA
This one sure is going swimmingly! Investors are flooding in today. Macquarie had a TP of 154p without this factored in. It's looking like the tide has turned here as evidenced by current prospects. The SP is electric today. Transformational!
Been waiting for more info from Indonesia. And that was well worth the wait. Gla
WOW that's a nice big order
'Sbuild. Spot on Rns Monday. Upwards to 50p
like a big background buy being worked no one seems to be selling down here so bodes well Level 2 looks good
looks like the sudden rise has been caused by the mail article and the Twitter pump crew ramping the article yesterday still every little helps lets hope it holds up
This article about the tides turning has been doing the rounds for weeks, everyone's seen the piece about real terms being 154p when turbines installed. It's got to be something else going on that someone's has got wind of maybe they are all installed and RNS about to drop. Maybe Monday.
Yes noted that NT to buy but able to sell 37p not many in issue worth holding .
paying over bid
shares left on ask nt over that
Easy to sell but can't get a live quote to buy even £1000 worth. Good sign.
You are certainly right in my case CTW but i couldn;t blame larger investors for flipping the shares and making 10-12% profit if they got in quick. Inevitably the 154p figure will have drawn in investors who believe in 'magic beans' but usualy lack patience to see them grow. A small retrace is likely when boredom sets in. Some announcements would keep this ticking over. For the more committed, the Mail article affirms the amazing long-term potential here and the rewards to be had if that potential comes to pass.
Whoops!
tip sheet
One positive thing about a share that has been falling for a while is that (sadly) most holders will be underwater by a significant margin. It follows that they are less likely to sell on a rise, at least until they are break even or in profit. Accordingly, we will not necessarily see a fallback after this rise (although nobody really knows). So far though, this is looking very strong. Whatever you think of the Mail it has a huge readership. This is also now high on the LSE Risers board which, in itself, generates interest/buys. GLA
captb . while I have a strong distaste for the rapacious aussie b*****s who run Macquarie, I have a grudging respect for their competence.I believe their SP forecast to be reasonable on a medium-term timescale, and it only implies a market cap of ~£150 mill.At todays prices ARL are capable of producing revenues measured in the hundreds of millions per annum.. Where do you get your info suggesting their reputation? As an aside it is typical that a sharp rise as a result of a broadshit (sp deliberate) newspaper is followed by a fall back, so plenty of opportunity for well-informed LTH's to make money here. This technology once proven , particularly from a robustness and durability standpoint, is the perfect complement to wind and sun because of its predictability and the certainty of substantially improved battery technology in the future. I have a time horizon of several years for this to return profits for the company and holders.
Thanks for that. Everything good with that except that it comes from Macquarie bk who have little good reputation these days. If you ever trade ASX stocks you will know. However, IMO the SP is worth well in excess of £1 so will not argue with them. Very pleased to see it getting into the public space finally.
Well spotted CTW! I particularly like this bit of blue sky thinking in the article. "Getting back to the share price, Australian investment bank Macquarie thinks they will be worth 154p once Phase 1 is complete. 'The key driver to this uplift is a reduction in our average discount rate to 6.8 per cent to reflect meeting ‘de-risking’ milestones such as securing financing, and commissioning and operating each stage of the tidal project,' Macquarie said in a recent note. Based on the above analysis then, investors would be wise to question whether the current stock price fully reflects the progress made to date." Plenty to go for there! Unfoirtunately my s econd buy was ta around 77p.
