New thread now under SAE
And here we have it, nice RNS holding and building here, real good returns coming our way for keeping the faith. Loss was to be expected.
Thanks for reminding me of the forthcoming name change. Not sure it will make much difference but u never know. Regards, Olda
No change.......so far anyone looking for the new trading name, so far as I know, look on the moneyam site for (SAE)Trades No trades so far, but not to sure how this changeover is being handled by the new group ? Would be nice to see some trades from the bosses to get it started!!! GLA
due Friday after positive vote, will we see a positive move in the share price? Not sure short term, but confident once the market gets the gist of the bigger picture, we will be on to a winner !! GLA
Wasn't aware the website is not updated as it should be. Annoying but not catastrophic. I was wrong too about figures I calculated were due this week. I do hope and expect them soon. It seems to me RNS never come when you expect them.
"Y is everyone..." I only noticed one person doing that, and I wish they wouldn't. However, the website at https://www.atlantisresourcesltd.com still hasn't been updated, to any appreciable extent, to reflect the partnership (or whatever it is) with SIMEC. Is this actually the right website to be looking at, to try to figure what this company is about?
****ging off the BoD?
It seems ARL has another ace up its sleeve. https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/ecofriendly-internet-microsoft-data-centre-scotland-underwater-orkney-project-natick-a8385696.html
I don't understand - if you are a long term holder, then why are you so peeved about the short-term fluctuations caused by some of the shenanigans that always accompany fundraising? Were you maybe hoping to make a quick buck yourself by selling when we were readmitted? I think most long termers by definition are more concerned to see the company grow. Your comments about TC come across as ignorant, petulant and rude.
I think you are all reading this wrong. ARL will have growing revenues from tidal power from here on and likewise from a power station increasingly turning to pellets for its power source. It is a very desirable investment for funds interested in ethical investing and would not be surprised to see it in the higher echelons of the FTSE within a couple of years. I am in here now and keen to see the statement coming out this week.
What makes it worse is that smug Schmuk Cornellius on the investors video from a few weeks back saying and I quote " a very exciting time to be a share holder with atlantis to be readmitting within weeks". Am I missing something? So so exciting about a 20%rise and immediate 20% drop? I actually thought for a minute he was he ceo who wasnt just going to spout a load of bull
You can couldn't make this up. They hold all our shares and monies for well over 6 months. Then upon readmission the buyers of all 35p placement shares sell up at a very quick profit crashing the sp. How exactly is this fair and is it any way to treat long term pi's some who still own stock at 50/60p levels. Complete joke no wonder aims labelled a casino for lifestyle con men to exploit innocent people.
Im fairly sure that until the tie up has passed the agm vote and been confirmed then this will tread water, until then its the same company as it was in december!
SIMEC stands for Shipping Infrastructure Mining Energy Commodities. Great name for a company.
That was a bit of an anti climax. Considering they had all our money wrapped up earning interest for over 6 months
That should be the opp this co needs for a bit of PR on the subject of new strategy and prospects.
Hi taufour, SIMEC is a Hong Kong registered International Private Co with Indian management. Looked them up via Google. Nothing wrong there as far as I can tell but please DYOR. Agree with you though that ARL could and should tell more if they want to make punters interested.
Not sure how investable this company actually is at the moment. I'm having difficulty finding out basic stuff like what does SIMEC stand for and how do you pronounce it. Any help appreciated. Thanks. Whoever runs the website at www.atlantisresourcesltd.com seems to be very reluctant to update it to reflect new realities.
Can lose a lot quickly in this market
Lousy market today and new mix of interests needs some articles to stimulate fresh buying. Least I hope so!
Do not consider that the change in this one's ability to earn and deliver now is reflected in this SP so put on a limit bid last night. Bit surprised to find it activated. Ho hum!
A bit disappointing that the pre admission existing shareholders have allowed their percentages to be diluted - eg Morgan Stanley Renewables Development 1 (Cayman) Ltd down from 26.2% to 9.01%. A good day nevertheless although the SP didn't reach my hoped for 45p. Maybe tomorrow when others have read the press commentary the SP will continue its rise. However a rise of 30% could prompt the recent investors at 35p to take a quick and substantial profit
From the Admission RNS we can calculate who bought the majority of the "placing "shares as follows Henderson 16m Apms 12m Miton 7m herald invest 5m total 40m of 57m The company now has a useful slate of institutional owners but nonetheless, will still be "tightly held" as those above and Simec will hold around 70% . the one obvious effect of this will be for buying on news to have a disproportionately strong effect on the SP -strap in!!
Hi Jura Like you I am invested because of tidal. The good news is that the Uskmouth project will be a "turnkey" ie Simec/ARL(sarl?) will let a contract for a company to do the whole job for a fixed price at their risk, so the management time for sarl will be limited . When the project is up and running it will do two things , first it will (and has already)scale up sarl to be a much bigger company with greater resources to fund/borrow/develop tidal projects, and second it will provide a cash stream for the business (I estimate annual revenues at 30-40m profits 10-15m) if you read this board back a few weeks you will see that there are a number of tidal opportunities/projects in their infancy which may grow to be the basis of a large renewable energy portfolio. The real break out for this co. though is still 5+ years away.
