Not doing much for traders either at present tho is it?
Well it’s easy for people to **** around with the SP when the BOD are continuously AWOL!
Absolute joke and I am still ****ed people gave them their votes.
Really should have taken my opportunity to get out last week. Won’t make that mistake again should it come.
They have informed the market their covid test is approved, they have informed the market (albeit on twitter) that it detects the variant. What is it you would like the board to do? Come around to your house for a cuppa and a chat perhaps? Blaming a lack of communication on a share price pull back that clearly is the results of short term trading is short sighted. I do not want to be invested in a company that does a fire fighting rns everytime the share price moves 5% (cough cough GDR, ODX), that smacks of fear from a board and a lack of confidence in their company. i did vote against the board by the way, but equally I don't need a message from them every week to explain why a price has moved up or down.
If the board comes round to yours for a cup of tea, can you let them know their action of silence to show confidence in the company isn't working, the SP has tanked 80%, what more lack of confidence do you need.
Blu - f.ck PIs. Sp is fubard beyond all recognition and we have close to zero II support.
Is there anything the board can do to get IIs on board?
9% of shares are owned by II. Agree they should do more to get that up. That is a failure of the board from appointing ODDO in my view, one of their biggest mistakes of the year, arguably their biggest mistake I feel. Works both ways though having a high retail base. It means its much more sentiment based, so when it starts to go up it roofs as everyone piles in. Swings and roundabouts really. Allows for the manipulation of short term traders, but it is what it is. Lets see if we get a rally tomorrow. I expect a little cheeky drop first thing to worry a few stops then the rally to continue. If it doesn't also fine, because at the end of the day testing is going through the roof and that means more money in the bank for us.
We all know that testing is likely going through the roof, what we don't is if the testing is being carried out with NCYT products, a simple trading update on revenues would confirm that, then we would know if it means more or less money in the bank
There are so many contradictions in people's positions here. Many acknowledge the fundamentals are strong and then bemoan the share price being out of kilter. There is much anguish about the lack of communication which certainly could improve but PLEASE realise the board is not here to serve individual shareholders' needs, it serves the company ON BEHALF of the shareholders. Every now and then it gets mentioned by one of the blessed few rational people on here that, given the cash position of the company (i.e. we do not need a raise or placing), the share price is more or less irrelevant its fortunes at the moment. If you have faith in the fundamentals then have the gumption to stick with your research/instincts. If you think the company is doing badly then sell as the share price is probably a fair reflection of the market value. If you are angry because you need funds and have to sell at these depressed prices then you overexposed yourself.
Ravenox the SP a reflection of market value - that can be viewed in several ways.
Perhaps if the company issued an Rns saying that its assays could pick up every variant instead of twitter and numerous other pieces of information then the 'market' would value Novacyt differently . I don't need hand holding but certainly a little trumpet blowing would have a dramatic impact imo.
It is not the midcap it aspires to be and one has to hope it does a much better job at selling itself to its customers then it does to shareholders be they private or ii's. Just imo.
Bluelight, I hope you've given your crystal ball a clean for tomorrows prediction. Because your calls on the trajorty so far have been a little off, being kind there.
The problem with the share and why investors remain unhappy is that its performance does not reward long term investors (yet). Only one who profits here is swing traders. The emphasis on having to retrace every rise to fill a gap is case in point. Its trading behaviour ignores fundamentals and focuses pretty much exclusively on charts. That won't last of course, fundamentals always shine through. It is however pretty galling to long term investors who have backed the right horse but haven't as yet seen the rewards their patience and call deserves.
Your point is Johnny? You seem to love calling me out on every prediction. Why don't you man up and make your own prediction instead of *****ing about mine. Good to have your own opinion buddy, no one likes a hindsight analyst of peoples predictions, it's tetchy.
this is one of those days that has nothing to do with Novacyt. Every covid related stock is red apart from the GDR pump and dump. Plus a load more others not shown below!

Don't forget that the nasdaq has suffered the worst start in December for 20 years... so markets aren't exactly sweet.
People are jittery and if they can bank 10% gains on a swinger like ncyt, then that's awesome for them.
Meanwhile lth's wait, as value will out in the end... let's just hope this happens before markets completely melt and catastrophe ensues!
In fact don't bother responding as I've just green binned you. You whinge more than an old woman, waste of my time reading your snide little comments
Bluelight, it's futile to make a prediction because I don't have any clue which way the market will go tomorrow. Same as many on here. Apologies for calling you out in particular, there's quite a few at it and it's become tiresome.
The omicron is a trade dream for the global institutions, banks and governments. What will tomorrow be, risk off? Who knows ……global manipulation stirred up by the worlds media and funded by those financial manipulators.
Well if the current management team cannot organise selling £millions of PCR tests in the middle of this Covid 19 pandemic, especially with the new Omicron variant on the march, and all the new travel restriction and testing requirements in place around the world, they need to be collectivy sacked! I either expect an RNS saying PCR sales are through the roof or they have all been sacked/resigned.
Katalyst rolling along Tks to Kilkenny ted I presume it's not on yet

Has AJ updated his experience details on LinkedIn or did I miss last time I looked.
It's like the tube "Mind the gap "
As far as I'm aware this company is still selling its wide range of products to 140+ countries worldwide so wouldn't expect any kind of reduction in demand given the present situation and the increased need for PCR tests.
Novacyt prides itself on the quality of its innovative products and equally importantly, their sustainability.
Don't think any of these factors has changed ??
I agree troublesome. But we´re still an AIM stock & therefore prone to gyrations in sp. What we want is updates on progress which we don´t get. The BOD must know this & still remain reluctant to update us. Have to say that they´ve been pretty shabby of late. DA still remains anonymous to his shareholders. Sure., I hope he´s busy but surely not so busy that he can´t engage with us.
Well, if we don't get a strategy update by Friday this week I will be the first to say I got it wrong. Still hopeful. After all, other than the CTDA updates, we haven't had any substantial news since 30th Sept. Almost 10 weeks.
