I am pleased as a shareholder you spend some of your hard earned cash.
However to be taken seriously to warrant a card we still await the detail of your shareholdings for you to be able to comment and advise, perhaps you have sold your Marstons shares and need to hand back your card?
Good try Supercharger, you have a lot too learn. My share holdings as should any serious investor, is between me, my Accountant and HMRC. But to put your mind at rest as it clearly bothers you, do you believe Marstons would issue a Privilege Card to someone who is not a shareholder?
Is this avoidance Fairtrader? -How many do you own - surely even a master investor such as yourself can answer for us all that simple question. No one can take you seriously if you do not actually hold any?
Supercharger golden rule on these boards, never disclose as you never know who is watching. All I will say is my holding is at a level way above the current SP.
They are shark bait then?
To be a Good Ramper you need to have genuine facts and a good memory. You have failed the basic test.
Fairtrader -actually looking at my Marstons chart I bought 12933 at 0.038740p and 46512 @ 0.41994p. What is your position? We cannot wait to hear.
They normally do and actually do very well thank you for asking.
Hope your fans are taking note at your gratuitous laughter.
Do'nt care who sinks so longer as you swim.....
Some have a lot to here to gain too, especially today, ha.ha.
Negative to some but factual. Some have more to lose than those sitting on Free-shares!!!!
Barchild & Fairdealer - possibly the same person - please keep relating to the share itself.
For me I am perfectly happy with my position and in time we will see if you are right with your negative waves or not. I am more than happy to keep writing positively about Marstons and my posts have not changed in this regard. I am relaxed and a good time to buy some more!
Some of us have thought about it and know debt has got to be addressed. This is one way along that road of debt reduction, there will be others.
Do you now have a contact at the CMA or Euro Union who referred the merger in the first place?
@supercharger
You have now told everyone to relax so many times that I am starting to suspect that you are a closet fan of Frankie goes to Hollywood ?
As for advising us to keep looking at the website, oddly enough I have been doing that in the 5 or 6 years I've been a holder in MARS,which is why I could point out that your statement of 2000 pubs being in the estate was much too high.
I am a great believer in posters looking at websites, & RNS announcements.
Relax......
Fairdealer -please keep relating to the share itself.
For me I am perfectly happy with my position and in time we will see if you are right with your negative waves or not. I am more than happy to keep writing positively about Marstons and my posts have not changed in this regard.
Supercharger do read your posts as they change with the weather.
Last week some of us were being accused of posting when the SP rose today it is now the SP has fallen. Which is it?
Last week you made it abundantly clear you have a contact in Marstons who you had contacted and were waiting a reply, now you are saying you watch the Company website and Official releases.
You really are sending out mixed messages no wonder some are selling.
Think about it if we can do a deal with a larger Continental owned Company such as Carlsberg that is hardly going to harm our relationship with Europe - post Brexit. To be honest you have to our Senior Management great credit for this idea too, as they are not going to take our Country's situation lying down and will survive in an even stronger position.
I am pretty sure the CMA will see this too. A surviving expanding Marstons is a lot better than one that will struggle.
can see these at 20p at the time of the next Dow correction.
Here we have it the same old posts when Marstons share fall from unofficial sources.
I will keep watching the Corporate web site for official releases as requested. There is absolutely no sensitivity in that apart from the fact the Company itself see no reason to panic and send out messages when not required under LSE rules. For those brave enough like me another great buying opportunity short term for a longer term investment.

Totally agree how anyone can think information not already within the Public Domain, can be obtained is naive to say the least and would contravene the rules. A questor would be regarded as obtaining inside information for which serious penalties can be levied.
Quite astonishing and one reads with incredulity.
@Fiona
I am sure you are correct, my post a week ago gave the last 2 years dates in October of their updates and now with CMA as well it is very likely they will structure it as you say.
They most definitely will give out no price sensitive information until the RNS or similar no matter who asks, that's a given.
Judging by the posting times, you are not in the Country! When did you last go into a Pub? The ones I know have either been virtually empty or heaving and no organised control of social distancing.
Unless people are prepared to pay as much as £ 300, getting a test on NHS is not rapid, the excuse being analysing laboratories are over capacity.
Whether or not the under 30's are being blase', this is the group who add most to beer sales.
Suggest the recent Beer and Pub association's report is noted. It states 37% of Pubs are working at a loss since Lockdown was lifted.
BBC political correspondent Nick Eardley pointed out that pubs and restaurants would be allowed to have more than six customers inside, but that the groups of six would have to be socially distant from each other.
As I have said no panic here and in fact Marstons themselves have been commended for helping with the testing facilities they have offered. See the official web site for more information. Also all of their own staff have been tested at the breweries in question with negative results.
Glad to see most managed and organised places will be excluded such as places of work, where sensible distancing can be maintained. The testing has shown one thing and that is the virus has increased particularly in the 20 to 30 age group who it appears have not been taking this virus seriously enough. They can also deal with the virus it appears fairly easily and that might explain why the death rate has decreased down to single figures despite the number of people with it increasing.
Unfortuneately the mass testing being stated is not happening as reported and because Laboratory analysis delays , data is not up to date. Government knows it hence the reason for the further control measures announced tonight. I fear there is worse to come now the peak Holiday period is over.
At least the covid guidance has always been to only cater for groups up to six. Hopefully avoiding any impact with this new change.
Still think the advent of mass testing has over amplified the infection figures - so many asymptomatics contributing to the figures who were just missed previously.
