The EU looks weak against Trump regardless. USA has one leader, the EU has over a dozen - any decision making is slower and less focused putting them at an automatic disadvantage.

FF, great point if Pentlands holding is increasing purely via the buyback - kind of forces a bid at some point. Must be a fair few ifs and buts in the law surrounding this.

IPhone production is incredibly cheap compared to retail price. Most of the retail price reflects R&D, software development, marketing, stores etc but actual production of one iPhone on a factory line appears crazy low on paper.

Buyers market for high street shops, shows SMWH wants to get rid. Pain upfront but clears the decks to concentrate on a growing market. Glass half-full opinion :-)

I’ve been to loads and can confirm it’s the poshest :-), and I mean than in a lovely way! hotel as well, nice big beer garden with plenty of sun - roll on summer.
