Copper is often overlooked in the 'gold rush' but long term could prove to be on a par with gold finds. What attracts me about Greatland and many other Australian explorers and producers is there is a sympathetic government well disposed to miners as well of course as a well developed administration process. This can not be said of many other countries where bureaucracy and corruption are rife.
These results really reinforce the potential size of the gold that could lie deep down-open at depth-says it all
GH keen to remind us about the copper at Havieron in addition to the gold.
Top marks - in fact 13/13

I think it’s telling that with outstanding drill results to set out to the market, GA skips past them to put the focus on the growth programme in 2021, with the following line at the very top of the RNS:
2021 growth drilling programme: approximately 65,000 metres in next six months to test potential extensions to resource shell, new targets identified.
2020 was an exciting year to be invested in GGP and it looks like 2021 could even top that. Whatever happens with the SP today is irrelevant from my perspective as I can see the direction of travel here and IMO it ends up with the company being worth significantly more than today’s price. GLA
All 33 drill holes intersecting mineralisation....is very impressive and reassuring that this is a Tier 1 major find! Still open at depth and in three directions. This will encourage IIs to invest more as longterm its an almost de-risked investment.
Exactly
LOL, "Accrington Stanley" is longer than "exactly" so how can it be "shorthand"?
/pedantry
Yes 33 holes mineralized, that's amazing.
"Drilling activities from 33 drill holes resulted in 26,591m of drilling completed since 30 September 2020,
with all drill holes intersecting mineralisation."
"Who are accrington Stanley"
My team were top of league one and the just beat us 2-0.
Those early scallywag results got rid of a lot of private investors shares and they now look very cheap
"Don't know if it's been done, but if carlsberg did drilling reports, ------------------------------------------."
Or Jaws " I think we'll need a bigger boat"!
Don't know if it's been done, but if carlsberg did drilling reports, ------------------------------------------.
Open at debth after all this drilling. Fantastic.
Amongst all the excitement that we PI's are 'guilty' of in times like these (and, lets be honest, we need some uplift in these very trying times), the sheer consistency of these ever improving drilling results simply underscore the investment case in GGP from every possible angle.
The professionals (II's), NEED this sort of substance to make their business case work.
And that is the crucial factor here, as once the emotion is stripped away, we have an exceptional investment case that must make our current SP very cheap looking by any standards.
And we really shouldn't forget, the behaviour of Newcrest - seasoned and very successful players of course, are genuinely excited about Havieron and can't progress their drilling quickly enough.
Now, from a major, you don't see this very often. Now, you know what we actually have here.
This result was long overdue....well done those who held on recently.
The copper grades are solid too. This means that the copper will pay for the mining of the gold.
Cadia just reported an AISC of: MINUS $6 dollars...that means for every ounce of gold dug out at cadia they ADDED $6 to the price!!
So when the brokers present the next note, they have to consider what the AISC will be for Telfer when Hav produces. And if Gold stabilises at the 2024 price of $2000 (conservatively) then ALL of this will be reflected in profit. Currently the brokers have calculated the Ev price using $700 after taking out the AISC. Now the figure should be based on the whole of the PoG. So proven up figure of 66p for 12.5Moz should now be around three times that @ £2...WTF???
I will sleep well tonight.

Is it just me or does anyone else keep thinking after each of these updates....Crikey it’s going to cost NCM a lot of money for that extra 5% at fair value!
Excellent results yet again. I love opening Newcrest exploration reports. You can just sit back and relax knowing it's gunna be good. Interesting comments regarding "other targets" in the Hav JV license area. Almost teasing a satellite discovery. But we wait until we get more info on that. Hopefully, these results will reaffirm to the market the value GGP has so we don't see anymore nonsense like we saw on the SWAG results
Indeed mickey, I expect GH will flesh out the detail tomorrow about the rigs etc.
Looking forward to his interview.
Nice one Paddy, great stuff as normal, and SOTH to all, new word ( sit on etc lol )
Bless and keep safe
Tom :-)
Hey Paddy, that’s a massive post and in reality must be 20+ rigs , has NCM / GGP just gone to another lever beyond another level ?
Decision made Paddy .... I am off to the beach to sit on my hands and come back in a few years.
Don’t forget Paddysat, they’ve already been drilling in the ‘next quarter’ and we can all see where thanks to your eye in the sky!
Satellite update soon?
GL
By the time they’ve stopped drilling there’s going to be naff all left to mine! It’s definitely going to be interesting to see just how deep the rabbit hole goes. No point in anyone guessing, just have to wait and see.
Still, seen worse drill results...very recently! ;)
Thanks Paddy.
Non-stop drilling.
I was never any good at figuring out 3D images - but it very much sounds like Havierion is a colossus.
Paddy your hands must be absolutely numb!
