What actual evidence have you got that Avacta CTDA is imminent?
I suspect you have nothing. If you have provide a link. Otherwise you are just a dreamer like the other abusive rampers on here.
Just in case this hasn’t already been posted, it’s a joint open letter from BIVDA and ABHI to the U.K. Health Security Agency, copying in the great and good at MRHA etc, bemoaning the CTDA process and it’s affect on smaller diagnostic businesses.
What I hadn’t seen before was the link in the letter which directs recipients to a Reuters news article about the withdrawal of tests by AVCT and NCYT.
So if the great and the good read the letter, and followed the link, they will be well aware of the effect CTDA has had on AVCT. Perhaps they did, hence why NCYT is one of the first to get approved through the process. Who knows.

Sorry if this is old news..,!
To our resident gimp.
I recommend googling Marketing 101, Porters Generic Strategies and the wiki entry for value for money. Perhaps stay off the custard creams for awhile.
Wet the biscuit man does 1+1 and gets 200.
Just cos even thou he can swallow all sort of stuff from the pumpa-dumps I’m surprised he thinks the rest of us do.
Let’s just put it down to optimism.
You might be older but definitely not wiser have some patience grab a gin and T, relax and get back in you’re box!!
I would have thought we could at least land one RNS worthy contract, given we can sell to Europe for professional use & they appear to be well & truly in the ****.
We need to see some tangle progress following the guidance.
Kind of hard to argue with O&W at the moment. We need some progress..now.
@OaW Another flyby non informative comment shame there is nothing useful that you ever add.
What a joke of a Covid19 concept share this one has turned out to be. On the verge of a possible 3rd wave VoC spread, still Avct has no commercial sales, no approval to sell, in the UK. Even on a red day like today for the main market, because of the VoC fears, good ol' Avct is also down 1.3%. Masterly stroke by management.
When's the next placing?

I am part of a majority on the LSE Avacta bulletin board that is fed up with trolls. In unity with my fellow shareholders, I have filtered:
Ndn71 RorkesDrift coolfree wyndrum AgentB
I suggest that everyone reading this, who hasn't already filtered these names, clicks on 'Filters' and then copies and pastes in the entire line of Usernames mentioned above.
We as supportive shareholders of Avacta, will add further Usernames of other trolls to this list, if required. But: we will not let discussions over “troll-blocking” clog the bulletin board, needlessly.
I have taken it upon myself, in union with my fellow shareholders, to not respond AT ALL to the baiting of the trolls in response to this Signature.
To LSE admin reading this: I would rather be banned than continue to read the disgusting drivel and slander, on an hourly basis, from the trolls named above - that you have hitherto failed to police. Get a grip; do your job.

Marik - we get it. Please stop the regurgitation.
For reference here are my comments:
In their recent independent [1] paper by Castan and colleagues [2] Affidx was clinically evaluated. The key take home points are as follows.
Using S1 protein in diagnostics is beneficial due to both functionality (ACE2 interaction) and structural accessibility. A total of 250 samples from consenting patients (of any age, gender, or race/ethnicity who presented at the test site) were tested with 150 negative samples and 100 positive samples and each test was in agreement with the ISO 15189. The testers were minimally trained operators, with little laboratory experience who received no previous training on use of the AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid test. This was representative of true intended user setting. At Ct = 28, both specificity and sensitivity (S&S) are 100%. Avacta are also running a parallel study under review for publishing that delve further into comparative analysis versus a complete panel of LFDs.
In context; this study independently adds further data underlining the very high specificity and sensitivity of AffiDx, making this one of the most accurate LFTs in the world. The tests were in agreement with ISO 15189 and the testing included patients of any race/ethnicity. Which would be useful for APAC countries. Furthermore, the tests were used by minimally qualified individuals to replicate true to situation setting (ideal for HUA). The future study highlighted will no doubt provide additional quality data especially under comparative analysis and will differentiate the Affidx test compared to other companies.
The AffiDx covid-19 test at Ct = 28 gave a 100% S&S and was only marginally reduced (98%) at Ct = 30. The cost of RT-PCR tests can be prohibitively high in many countries across the globe for whom a *highly accurate* cheaper LFD would certainly help alleviate the spread of covid-19.
For me, this certainly provides upwards momentum for the stock and increases my conviction for the company who have done an exemplary job. There are very few studies out there who provide such quality data, Mologic was commended by Professor Deeks for doing so and I can only applaud Avacta for taking similar steps.
I am under the impression that we will be discussing APAC agreements in the near future and can see that this paper would lend strength to future agreements and revenue streams. Furthermore the ease of use will certainly be underlining the self-test application submitted by Medus-19.

I'm waiting for my foi request response to come through. I have had acknowledgement of it so fingers crossed when it lands It may shed some light on the process
The naysayers on the Novacyt BB have gone silent. There is a strong impetus for the Gov to get a move on, they've now had 3 times longer than what they stated, the new VoC is adding pressure and it's coming to a point where it is imminent.
Good luck all.
must be true then, he's never bent the truth slightly ;)
I think Timster that AVCT told Myles it was pre-market therefor unofficial therefor would not be appearing on official sites
I want it to be imminent, but realistically, it won't happen till after Xmas.
I believe there are 55 in the queue and they have processed 3. That is where we are.
dont start brochure gate again, I dont think it was genuine, if it was where is it no

As we are all aware that the Medusa19 brochure is genuine and was circulated at the recent trade show. What will be fascinating is the data mentioned in there:
Clinical Sensitivity Ct<27, 99.4% with 168 samples
Clinical Specificity, 99.7% with 639 samples
This is without doubt one of the best tests in the world and no doubt the CTDA application will be a very strong one.

Also to note that entertainment and travel stocks are heavily down in the markets. Covid related stocks are making are on the rise due to the variant of concern. It is a matter of urgency that the UK Gov process the best tests double quick.
