I was going to write a pretty long response to Ratty, but he’s not worth the effort, and truthfully, I’d just like to poke him in the eye with fork.
RugRats. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha. Stand in the corner with pointy hat on again!
RugRats
The single most risk for any growing business is cash!
Do they have sufficient cash to reach proper commercialisation?
YES!
So half of the worry is now gone!
Is the sector HOT and have global reach?
Absolutely YES!
Any contract signed recently that will generate solid revenues in the future to provide profitability?
YES!
Is the RSI on the chart going up from the near the oversold territory?
YES
As a new investor I'll ask the above question and the answer is YES to all of them which means it's a screaming BUY now.
I've noticed AFC is a super volatile stock but if somebody is shorting now, think twice.

RugRats, as you said yesterday at 12:13:
"Fast forward to 1:31:20, 'over the next 4-5 years where we are starting to see some serious revenues coming in'. From AB's own mouth, verbatim."
And you did this to prove your "Significant revenue possibilities in 4-5 years." statement posted a little earlier.
RugRats, I am sure you know the difference between "over the next 4-5 years" and "in 4-5 years"?
RugRats
Yes, you have and you know it. Because you are mendacious.
What about ABB and Mace, probably our two most promising partners at present. What about the datacentre marker. And what about Alkamem? What about £62m in the bank and a new high calibre workforce.
I certainly would buy now if I hadn't bought so heavily already. Now is the right time. And the purchasers of a couple of hundred millions shares recently would agree.
Your posts and your actions are shameful. You are to be pitied.
The overriding view is that Rat's is a bit of a joke, so why don't we all stop fueling his flames. If every Rat's post is followed by mocking laughter rather than dialogue, he might disappear back into the Rat's Cave. There are so many great posts, full of insight, with near term orders pretty certain, that this BB can be a source of intelligent and interesting debate, not a perverse shorter's forum.
Yellowselbyratface LoL . comment of the year .
Rats, you've contradicted yourself, previously you said the '4-5 years' related to orders, but now you admit it relates to significant revenues. Thanks for correcting your mistake eventually!
Segedunum, how about "BurningsShorts"?
Quizzical, you’re right, and maybe I’ve been too opinionated. Bashers annoy the hell out of me which is why I won’t filter them. I want see everything and be able to counter their argument, but I don’t let them influence my investment decisions. Like you, I love a good British company, which is why I keep throwing my money into them. I’m hoping for big things but time will tell.
Scarpa. You are absolutely right. However, it is nonetheless very frustrating to see a fledgling British world beater mocked by a greedy piece of work. For my part, I view PIs generally as individuals who have invested hard earned cash in good faith in the hope of seeing a SP rise so, when I see another party trying to destroy that value and, in some instances, the lives of others, it annoys me big time. Shorters, thieves, human traffickers, arms dealers....all sharing the same DNA.
I understand what the yellowedselbyratface is trying to achieve, but if it actually influenced anyone’s thinking then they’ve only themselves to blame. I bought another £20k worth yesterday and there’s every chance that mid June I’ll be investing another £30k. For purely selfish reasons I’d like the SP to be under 80p at that time. I watched the live event and again on two occasions since; some delays which are frustrating re Acciona but also understandable in the current circumstances. I’m building a reasonable chunk and nothing which spews forth from the aforementioned idiot is going to change my view. All very much to play for and see where it goes. I don’t talk about the numbers side of things as they’re available for all to see, but I do research pretty thoroughly and like most, always look to the future even if there’s short term pain. I’m in profit here but nothing that’s going to excite the taxman/woman, but massively up elsewhere having bought heavily when everyone was selling. If you back yourself to make good decisions and you can ignore the noise, you’ve nothing to fear.
Rat. Yes, "serious over 4-5 years", perhaps several hundreds of £million. Near term we will still see material revenues as AFC gets out of the blocks which, for a business with a world-beating low cost technology, will drive the SP up to £1.50-2.00 this year, probably £3.00-4.00 next. All of this is chicken feed when AFC has huge orders across sectors for several continents, then we will be in the £5.00-10.00 division. That said, please bet your house on a major decline Rat, put your money where your shorting mouth is!
Was thinking the same Steve G.
"over the next 4-5 years where we are starting to see some serious revenues coming in"... So serious revenue between now and 5 years. That's what it means. Not after 5 years.
Perhaps English isn't your first language?
The more Rugrats posts, the more desperate he's getting. Why would anyone waste so much of their own time posting about a stock they are not invested in? I sense a nice short squeeze coming on next week. :-)
A short squeeze occurs when a stock jumps sharply higher, forcing traders who had bet that its price would fall, to buy it in order to forestall even greater losses. Their scramble to buy only adds to the upward pressure on the stock's price.
Rug is just playing the game....10m revenue is nothing but would be significant this year.
AB is talking about 10's or 100's millions in 5 years so the conversation is not worth having since afc have not forecasted yet....expect the forecasting might start next year as orders and sales start to happen in earnest.
Bumble....you never gave a view of the cmd, care to expand?
Very pleased with it myself, small slip with acconia but not much really and we are taking advantage of the time...liked that he had a meeting with patent lawyers but and presented at gs symposium the day after.
I trust AB to deliver for sure and i think his standing in the community will be enhancing all the time.
From memory AB said that a combination of the £64 million and revenues from expected sales would fund the expected expansion in operations, implying there won't be a need for further placings. If we did achieve significant profitability in 4 years that would be better than some peer companies with MCs currently multiples of AFC. I think with 25p cost per kWh AFC could be a big winner here.
Rugrats.
You seem to not know much about this sector? The hydrogen fuel cell market is forecast to be worth $201 billion by 2024-2025.
So what would you call "serious" revenue in 2025 within this sector for a leading company in fuel cell tech? Please name other hydrogen sector companies ABB or Mace have linked up with please? OR maybe you know more than them?
If we can lead in larger fuel cells across the sector, a serious revenue with a market sized 200b in 2025, id say 1% of the sector is possible. Is a 2 billion revenue serious enough for you? Or even 0.5%?
Rat.
Rat is an idiot. Lets move on now.
RugRats. As per usual, you are distorting the facts to suit your own selfish ends. AB spoke in terms of fit out in three weeks, the team moving in thereafter and production commencing alongside more development work (range of products). This is based on orders we will hear of very soon, otherwise why hire so many staff and start production? I detest shorters, but I would love to see you engage in this manner and suffer the consequences. Go on, put your money where your mouth is!
Rugrats, can you please correct your missleading post on Wed 20:09 that incorrectly claimed that AB said it will be '4-5 years until significant orders'? Please keep sharing your opinion, but please don't make inaccurate and damaging claims.
RugRat. We can but hope, since your demise would be more value added than your ongoing existence!
There are some very good people on this board that know who the usual suspects are ;)
