Dear oh dear, I was hoping that having returned from a few days in Cornwall I might return to see that we had made a breakthrough! But no here we are still toiling in the 0.90's and with no significant nor sustained increase in volumes.
I think our arch ramper hypemctripe has been slacking. After posting over 30% of the posts on Monday and Tuesday he must have tired himself out as we haven't seen or heard from him (on teh AEX boatrd anyway) for almost 48 hour! No wonder we didn't get through that 1p barrier eh?
Only joking ;0)
I wish you all a wonderful weekend.
Lovely in Cornwall at the moment. Whereabouts did you go?
Crusty, I don't think anyone is overly concerned, the important thing now, is there is now only 2 weeks to the initial 3D results. Which we all know could influence sp. I wouldn't be surprised to see 1p by end of next week. : )
Most of the time I was in Truro but also spent some time in Falmouth as it was "Falmouth Week" (very crowded).... stonkingly hot but, unfortunatley, humid too.
It wouldn't be a good start for the weekend for Victor Meldrew if he didn't post some of his usual doom and gloom negative spin.
I guess he's never heard of 'stock overhang', 'summer holidays', 'price consolidation', or ' 'think positive'.
BG for what it is worth I am not expecting much at all from the "phase 1" seismic results - simply confirmation of the CH1 position - in my view they will not have sufficient data to make any statements concerning resources; they will need data from a wider area to do that.
But that is simply my take from the statements released over recent months and by relevant conversations at the AGM. That said, they suggested that would have more than "phase 1" results by the months end so there is a chance I suppose.
Oh hello Winston back with your one-eyed, self serving hype? Come on man get banging that drum; you have been slacking! Your fellow pumpers & dumpers and rainbow chasers will be disappointed in you? ;0)
Oh and I suspect that you will report that post too? You love dishing it out don't you but not so happy about getting it back eh? ;0)
Oh and BD, no I am not at all concerned either in truth - it is only a question of time - and of course, once we get to CH1 soud the "degree"....
I wish you all a lovely weekend one and all - and yes that means you too mctripe xxx
Well I must admit to being somewhat disappointed.
Back from France and expecting to find a significant jump in the SP - everyone here seemed to believe that tripe and onions was on the money and the golden future was imminent.
What on earth has gone wrong ?!
My daughter's down at boardmasters and struggling with the heat there. Off to majorca for a couple of weeks where its roughly the same, but at least built for it and have a pool and ac. Looking forward to the September rise here into drill. About bloody time!
Anyone else concerned that the 3D seismic results might be a disappointment ?
nope Seance
Nope seance/rojo/apache /skinwalker/etc..
I do hope for all your sakes that your confidence in the 3D seismics is not misplaced.
Accurately forecasting the future is not a simple matter !
Faith not confidence.. Have a little faith.. It's a gamble and your money remember.. Be positive...
Very warm here in Hastings a prolonged dip in the sea becons.. Ciao..
OK - I do hope for all your sakes that your faith that the results of the 3D seismics will be positive is not misplaced...
Have a nice dip.
well i reacon ARA/Zubair has more to lose than any of us, but then again they do have the experties, so my money is with them
yes, but what you're missing Blackgold/celticheart/donkiddick is that ARA can afford to lose more than us.
They are prepared to spend money in the hope (off-chance?) that they find gas.
It's called Business.
If they don't find it in commercial quantities with us, they'll try again with someone else and somewhere else.
you're talking nonsense now
" ARA can afford to lose more than us."
any investor should only invest what they can afford to lose, whether its milion pounds or ten pounds
"They are prepared to spend money in the hope (off-chance?) that they find gas."
its not so much as chance, but decision to explore for oil/gas devived from expert knowledge, not like me and you, so like i say i'm following ARA oil/gas investment dicision.
"The well is expected to delineate the Ntorya gas field in a significantly thicker section of the Cretaceous reservoir system and is also being planned to evaluate a potential deeper exploration target in the Jurassic formation."
"Delineation well:
"An exploration well drilled as part of a carefully planned programme with the objective of appraising the value of an oil or gas discovery. Delineation, or step-out wells, are drilled so that the probable outline of the oil or gas field may be delineated."
So ARA are not hoping for gas, they EXPECT gas.
Every day is a day closer to ch1 results...Well before end August Santos said
