RE: Tanzanian MP says Ruvuma may hold 100 TCF of gas6 Feb 2026 11:56
I think kn1 was bringing in $800,000 a month and produced about 30bcf. It was a nice little earner for the company and that’s why when it stopped producing, it had such an impact on the company.
So production will be profitable to answer your first question.
Will they get paid? Well I’m sure APT will as they bring quite a bit to the table in terms of future growth for the country. So do you think APT/ARA won’t pay Aminex?
I’m still slightly on the fence until they announce the CH1 schedule. Having said that, I have recently bought whilst keeping powder dry. Now that things are moving, I’d expect the schedule to be known and that is a bit of a red flag for me. Everything points to it all being ‘go’, but this is Tanzania and LTHs have had that excitement before only to find another year pass.
Surely there are too many cogs turning now though. Let’s see.
