"March 2023 due to rig availability" - true.
"says to me that ARA checked with rig supplier(s) and were told a rig was available in March, so they booked it immediately so that they had a rig.
To the doubters, why would ARA check rig availability, be told March 2023, then not book it?"
In your head. Never read into rns and extrapolate as when there is anything positive, they'll be clear without the need.
I think it's mostly Tanzania coupled with what can be said when treading on egg shells and also poor communications strategy. They have plans and those clearly change a long time before they release that information. They'll get there, but don't believe what's in the rns or at least take it with a pinch of salt and certainly don't think there might not be more delays. It doesn't matter if its aminex or ARA operating. They're in tanzania.
Relik, there is a history of when things change, they stick to the same stance with loose language for as long as they think best. Fully funded for NT3 (in the context of moving forwards with drilling)? No seismic needed before drilling CH1? On schedule for November is just another example and there have been others.
Always read RNS carefully and never expect good news to be being held back like rig mobilisation as some have previously eluded to. They'll be reporting operational progress ASAP I'd expect when it does happen.
Hey Rod, what are the details of current pay bands, responsibilities, percentage increase across those bands since 2009? Do you know if employment contracts have been rewritten recently? If they were any details whether positive or negative? Do you know if there are any issues with building location changes? I'd appreciate any knowledge you have.
