Agree, well done to James Barder and team for getting the FDA approval and congratulations to my fellow long term FUMSTERS!!
As the company will receive proceeds of £4,375,000 in respect of the warrant exercise there will no longer be any funding or dilution. Big positive. Well funding now and with generating income. Dividends cannot be far away.
Well done Barder and team. Credit where it is due and they have dug in and delivered. If you are a trader you are probably miffed at the timing of the warrant exercise if you managed to secure some in the first 30 minutes. This cash injection stops those same traders suggesting a cash raise in the weeks to come so that’s why they don’t like it. To make proper money here you wait for the funds to start buying in now that we have a huge market opportunity ahead of us. Sales figures will whet the markets appetite and if you have followed the story for a few years it would be folly, IMO, to sell now when you have absorbed most of the risk. Exciting times ahead.
Small cap in relation to potential
My two pence thoughts:
1- It is a shame to issue the RNS on the warrants because it cools off a little bit the market today. For a pure trading perspective it makes the day slightly less interesting as I genuinely wanted the 58/60p resistance to be smashed into pieces. I also felt that the first RNS would have attracted quite a few day traders and other investors who were waiting for the news to come out in order to invest. From that perspective, that has burnt quite a few players, hopefully not too heavily.
2- As a long term investor, I cannot stop thinking that actually this was possibly the best time to issue the warrant RNS. The price inflated sufficiently that the overall impact of this RNS does not hurt my original position (for info I am in at 19p average). This brings liquidity to the company and now that this is out of the way, we can finally see a proper consolidation towards the 60p (which I still want to see destroyed by the way), it also stops the company from needing to extra cash in the short to medium term. So I am fine with it. The dilution is really minor, we talking 3% of the new numbers of shares issued, so the overall impact of the dilution should be minimal right?
I totally get some people can feel hard done by, but for me this is showing that the company is sufficiently aware of the general moving direction and is making the right decisions needed to move this further.
Any thoughts?
PS: I am probably wrong, maybe I should be more worried, so always looking for alternative views.
Big day today, now a direct competitor to the big guys and funded too.
This is now transformed to a takeover target.
I hope that Lombard are privy to early news & following fda news the US deal will be released very soon! Maybe the reason for the warrants!
For sales release in America that would need a massive amount of money….. now we have it…. All good in my opinion……
Imminent announcement of US distributor should see a further surge in SP.
They could still sell into the market then raise warrants later? Controlling the price & stopping us private investors from selling shares at a higher price! IMO.
Seems I was right with the cash raise after the FDA approval. Those 10m shares placed. Hopefully strengthened the hand of FUM with commercialisation agreements in the US as they won’t be desperate for a short term injection of cash.
As if this morning’s first RNS wasn’t enough the second one puts “ the icing on the cake “.
All long term FUMSTERS fully recognise the part that Lombard Odier have played in supporting Futura over a long period of time. By exercising their options their support not only continues but also eliminates the need for any further cash calls in the near future with the injection of £4m +.
Don’t be in too much of a hurry to take profits, with FDA approval in the bag there appears to be a lot more to play for.
Well done JB. and the FUTURA team.
GLA all LONG TERM FUMSTERS.
Arturo.
Second RNS is very cheeky of them
The 10937500 shares @ 40p is a minimal dilution tbh. So Should not affect the price massively. So I am not seeing a lot of reason to be too concerned. It is a smart way to raise cash and actually I much prefer this has happened after the FDA approval because most of the longer term investors have position at levels much lower than the current sp.
It burns the investors who have bought at the RNS though.
Exercise the warrants at 40p and sell into the spike at 50p+. Standard MO for the UK market…
It's understandable from LO. They bailed out the company in the dark days (7p). Exercising warrants at 40p no doubt accompanied by top slicing this morning reduces their exposure, and improves company's finances. LO wins, company wins, other shareholders lose out. They clearly wanted to avoid a repeat of the 2016 situation where the SP spiked.
What dilution is caused by this £4 million warrant issue?
Why would they do that? Lombard that is? Why not issue warrant in a week or so? Everyone new it was coming but timing a bit S.H.I.T!
Small private investors were 🤬🤬🤬🤬again,FIRST RNS raised the SP by 30% for the second RNS TO SELL INTO disgusting 🙄
Very sneaky with the second RNS.. But this is great news for the company. Will eyes on before jumping back in.
Lombard exercised option to buy shares at 40p. Company got £4.3m, so don’t need to raise funds. See rns.
USA is a massive market ......FUM going to get major press coverage on this RNS....Expect a lot people will be buying today
You haven’t seen the SECOND RNS then 🙄
Good start up 20 percent this morning
