For sp to move north we need to find a nugget the size of a football stadium. Few meters from surface. When the drill finds it, it will send a sound everyone will hear it and run to buy ECR.
The mother of all nuggets.
we can wait.
a quick summary of yesterday's rns (not utilising twitter):
ecr minerals plc said it will carry out further trench sampling and drill targeting at its lolworth project in queensland after a review of the exploration work over the past 12 months.
highlights from 2023 were rock chip samples of 22 grammes per tonne (g/t) gold with stream samples of 205 parts per million (ppm) at reddy creek; rock chips of 13.75g/t with stream samples of 1,395 ppm at gorge creek; and stream samples of 962 ppm at butterfly creek.
adam jones, ecr’s technical director, said lolworth was taken on as a 'greenfield' project that had the potential for significant discoveries.
“our work in 2023 has gone some way to endorse that, proving that gold exists in multiple places within the project area.”
mike *******, chief operating officer added: "the conclusion of the 2023 fieldwork season at lolworth has given us a solid platform from which to plan the next stage of our reconnaissance programme.
"we have identified several locations to hone in on and we believe that there are still other gold sources that can be followed up over in the coming year. alongside the gold, we also have found the presence of the sought-after niobium-tantalum rare earth minerals.”
So 5 posters (one of which is a Director of a company and one of which we know is a holder of some of the recent placings) is a "massive coordinated effort".
Wow, those 5 must have literally taken over twitter.......is ECR trending?.....lol
100%..it's those promoters on Twitter that stopped me pressing the buy button.
when you say "some of the investors in ecr including the individuals who took the placing are some of the main players on twitter, so they will naturally post when there is news." i think it's the "when there is news" because it's not though is it?
@dds_docholiday/ mike ******* posts almost daily, he even starts to tweet about southern cross gold because another company on another piece of land found a bit of gold and therefore by inference ecr are going to find a shed load of gold. that's like saying bp found oil so all shell need to do is put a pipe down. pipe down being the operative words
then in comes @davidburton197, @belcourtoi, @blowster85, @aim_bagger tweeting and retweeting, it's a massive coordinated effort to suck in as many people as possible.
mike *******, just get on with the work you need to do for ecr. if you spent all the time you tweet on ecr i'd imagine you'd be further forward.
jamesp21 states "we need to find commercially viable deposits of gold in order to grow" that is correct. posting daily, retweeting, dragging in y' muckers to tweet and retweet just makes it look so suspicious (to me). why is there a need to tweet daily? most companies just get on with it. investors in most companies complain that there isn't enough news coming out. we literally get an update every time mike breaks wind.
at the end of the day all they have done is send some bags of rocks to get tested and the results are back. they haven't identified where to dig and they haven't even started digging. ecr are a long way off from making money, if they can make money. gold prospecting is not shooting fish in a barrel.
a sense of realism needs to return to ecr, and that starts by people just being realistic about the twitter posse and what they are trying to achieve.
Yes, I think we have all (except Tamer perhaps) agreed that it's solid results that will ultimately drive this.
The drop from 0.26 is unwarranted though given the positive progress in yesterdays RNS (there was no 'bad' news)
It just takes one large seller (or buyer) to move the dial at the moment unfortunately
Not much backslapping going on in here today? Are people slowly realising it will be commercially viable assays which re-rate us and not nudge nudge wink winks in interviews?
OH GOOD HE RAISED HIS EYEBROW - HOW EXCITING - IDIOTS - means such a lot - ROFL
WHERE IS THE GOLD - not more bs
…….well he did raid his eyebrow 5 minutes into the interview so I reckon $5tn
I suspect in your dream world it does yes. $80tn JV
........mental...does the reference to beds mean there is going to be an RNS released tomorrow am ?
TS - the first hope is that CresWick results actually arrive on time (whenever that is - not really been following all that closely). Then you can hope they are decent.
From past experience, if they are late/delayed at the labs, then that's usually a sell signal here. All imo and GLA
Just as you thought volume was starting to pick up we get news and a lowish volume day.
c12m shares sold and we drop 12%.
The content was actually positive and certainly didn't warrant the drop we've seen (and didn't warrant a massive rise as well ...just for balance).
I'm sure we'll get a small tick back to 0.25 tomorrow if past trends are anything to go on.
And absolutely agree that actual results are going to be the only catalyst here for a sustained increase.
Let's hope the Creswick drilling results are decent.
Mental - next thing you will probably get is about how busy the labs are right now🥱
I think flannel makes it worse at this stage. Eye roll central. How many times have we heard the same script?! Put up or shut up time, it’s our money after all, they dilute and spend it so we have every right to be critical and demand more than jam tomorrow.
Thought i'd check in on this ole dog following the RNS. I couldn't agree more with Dan's post that it's mere flannel v actual results. Can't remember the last time ECR released any results worth getting excited about and investing in. Will they break that particular trend, in order to have any chance of breaking the downtrend.
Well that aged well...
Whilst interviews are always welcome this is going to need good results to take it over 0.30p, flannel will only take it so far. This will be traded in the meantime, hopefully it's won't dip below 0.24 and hold the current range. Let's be having those assays!
It’s fairly simple guys.. we need to find commercially viable deposits of gold in order to grow. If we don’t do that, we don’t go anywhere. There’s a lot riding on these upcoming assays.
ECR needs to find gold bars at this rate for the sp to move.
Three things that are sure in life:
Death , Taxes and ECR dropping on a positive RNS...lol
Someone dumped 4m shares @0.235 an hour ago....that'll be the reason for the drop
Well if results are good I guess we can expect another 10% drop ffs!
This share eh!
...........you "standing by your bed".........Nicepair ?...............when do you think the Victoria RNS will drop.......good results?
No , obviously finished his trading here....now just posting on another board.
Nice to see the board back to a more civil footing
Generally positive interview although ultimately same old same old RE early days stuff ('indicators', 'gold present' etc). Not totally keen on the 'Lolworth overlooked' and presence of REM 'lost to the market - More like we were dead keen until ECR decided to do a 180. Although that being said at least they're cracking on and getting some drilling done in Vic.
'With a much bigger budget we'd ramp up operations considerably' - That about sums it up sadly.
Fingers crossed Victoria FINALLY shows some consistent commercial results.
LOL Ti, clutching at straws again I see. Has Rx been banned?
