Ten Alps PLC28 February 2008 28 February 2008 Ten Alps Plc Update Factual media company Ten Alps announces that Education Digital 2 Limited, aconsortium in which, via its wholly-owned subsidiary Brook Lapping, Ten Alps isa 75% shareholder, has received notification from the Department for Schools,Children and Families regarding its tender submission for the possible secondphase of the Teachers TV project, to run from the Summer of 2008. EducationDigital Limited, in which Ten Alps is a 70% shareholder, is the incumbentsupplier on the project, having operated the first phase of the contract from2004-8. The Department has said that it is now minded to accept the proposal ofEducation Digital 2, however as a requirement of law it has now imposed the 'Alcatel' standstill period which will be a minimum of 10 calendar days(commenced Monday 25 February) before the final confirmation of who haspreferred bidder status and any contract negotiation can begin.
