Crimson Tide PLC10 December 2007 Crimson Tide plc Contract Win - Knight Frank Crimson Tide plc is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement withglobal property consultancy Knight Frank to provide its mobile data system,mPro. The new system will assist with the consultancy's facilities managementand replace its current paper-based operation. As well as providing significantcost and time savings, it also closely monitors the progress of maintenance andrepair operations. The agreement is for an initial pilot within a small number of Knight Frankmanaged properties with the potential to roll out the programme further in duecourse. The website/smartphone based system is used for tracking the repair andmaintenance of electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, lighting, power and otherfacilities within Knight Frank managed premises. The smartphone, website andservices are all provided on a monthly subscription basis. Tenants report problems via phone or email to Knight Frank's helpdesk, wherethey are delegated to one of a number of specialist contractors. At the currenttrial sites contractors' operatives come to the office and pick up details ofoutstanding jobs for the day. They then travel to the location, record arrivaltime and either complete the job or, if parts are required, mark it as 'parked'.Signatures, dates, times and comments are written on forms alongside each jobtitle. At the end of the day, engineers return to the office and hand backcompleted job sheets. These are collated and monthly performance reports createdfor Knight Frank and its contractors. The Crimson Tide mPro solution means thatall reports are auto generated, enabling real time interaction with operativesand removing the need for them to return to the office for further instruction.
