I'm firmly in the Takeover camp and fully agree with the likes of addickt JS etc, for following reasons:
CGP wither and die when the time comes to pay for the mine...OR Solg can buy them off for a pittance. So why is NM wasting time, effort and money on this pathetic coup.
BHP will buy CGP at the appropriate time for far more than NM is offering now and CGP know this.
BHP will then be too strong for SOLG to hold back and will be offered an ultimatum to either JV with them or get taken out.
Finally, mine production on a scale like this, is massive. Only a handful of majors can manage it. If NM was serious about production, it would take nhim atleast twice as long as a Major and he simply aint going to be around by then! He will buckle and he will either: get into bed with a major / sell Alpala off and get on with the rest of his tenures / (or unlikely) sell everything and go live in Polynesia or somewhere with his grandkids!
As has been said before and has been proven time and time again: NM is not a businessman, he's a geologist/scientist/discoverer. He shouldn't be allowed in the office. Just look at the fricking SP.....speaks volumes about what the market thinks of him.

Because anyone who buys CGP will have to pay up for their share of production costs when the time comes won't they? So who would do that?

Can someone tell me the benefits of buying CGP out at this stage when CGP can be bought for $3.3 million outright if they don't cough to the construction costs of the mine (circa $150million being their share)?

What is the reason for a hostile bid when they can just sit back and relax?

I needn't remind you that if you were remotely accurate half the time, you wouldn't even be on forums advertising your wares would you? You'd be on a superyacht as far away from covid as possible.

Schleimel: NCM like to run the show and didn't expect resistance from SOLG. Here @ GGP it's much easier to control the minnow (70% for $65m) and they will eventually buy the lot...because they can (especially now that they don't have to invest in SOLG anymore!) But I bet their pi**ed.

The tie breaker (between SOLG becoming a producer or selling out) will be the $2Bn.
If SOLG get this in their bank account then it's obviously going to go it alone (ish!).
If it can't raise that sort of money (without prostituting itself) then guess what......

1. FN getting access and giving the green light for the $100 Million
2. PFS results are good.
3. Confirmation of financies for production ($2Bn).

Curious though why NM allowed the RNS to advertise what can only be described as pathetic gold and copper grades at this early stage?? Why doesn't he keep quiet until some decent finds come to their attention??

Dip66/1Ghandi: great reference alluding to Sprott's business acumen. Well worth reading to give you a flavour of what we are onto, here @ GGP.

For instance, part of his due dilligence, Sprott says:

As previously mentioned, he only invests in 5 or 10 baggers / Gold / juniors! Currently everything else is by the by.

The trouble with people researching on here means one of two things:
