45Km conveyor belt would make life so much easier. The longest in the world is 61 miles long! 28 miles to Telfer is nothing. Cheap to build and to run. Don't need 100 trucks or 100 drivers @ £20k each/year salary!

IF you sell an S and S ISA and remove the money from the wrapper - you can't reinvest that money into another S and S ISA if you have already used up that years allowance.
EG: 2020/21 buy £20k of stock and wrap it in an ISA.
Meanwhile in that same tax year, sell £10k of S and S ISA stock and remove it from the wrapper and put it into your bank account. The money comes out tax free but you can't re-admit it into any other S and S ISA purchase to obtain tax relief. You are already flush for that years tax relief with your original £20k purchase.
The ONLY way you can 'benefit' from retaining the tax relief from your sold S and S ISA stock is if you park the proceeds into a cash ISA within the wrapper. Leave it there (Uninvested cash ISA account) until you want to buy new stock and then re-invest it into your new S and S ISA account, thus retaining the tax relief.
PS: If you sell 'normal' non ISA stock and slip it into an ISA....you will have to pay tax over and above your CGT relief level, which currently is £12,500 I believe.

Mickey, basically NCM have firmed up previous assessed levels of mineralisation / grades and then gone one further where they have 'wet' themselves @ Hav066 out by 200m to the north and west where there is gold and a little bit of dirt in between!!

I see Hawkspear made a list of all those who confided in their holdings and at the last count (on paper) there were over 100 paper millionaires riding the stock. Great atmosphere too on GGP.

Beats driving 100's of mega trucks hundreds of thousands of kilometrers each year back and forth (as they are planning currently).

SoS - it does indeed look like the remaining 80Km of drilling will take atleast a year, so we're having to wait that bit longer. Presumably Scally will be prodded before then which means more rigs and staff in the area. It doesn't matter if we find anything else @ Hav, there's enough already...but if more was found and Scally kicked off as well - this would propel GGP to world class status - no?

To close - GGP is what SOLG should be....ergo..fast and furious at this stage, not lumbering in the doldrums. SOLG has everything GGP has and more, not only in minerals but in its prospects and plans. Yet at the end of the day it's how the BoD play their hand and this is where GGP excels. As I said before - we are ALL in this for ONE reason only.....money. We are all hoping to be that little bit better off than we were yesterday. Guess what, we are practicing that over at GGP and we are NOT, here. You have to ask the question ...WHY?

Your placing Q first: Are you suggesting that NM diluted (through this placing)by 0.5% with the full knowledge that the market would probably react by the same (at the very least)?
Lo and behold the market did react and by 20 times the dilution rate, at 10%!
If (as you say through your experience) you know this is going to happen...tell me why anyone, absolutely anyone in their right mind would enrol for any allocations? Instead (if they want discounted shares) they simply buy the next day. Can you explain why there is a religious calling (by some) to get on the placing bandwagon?
On your second issue (NM playing in the major league), he is way outside his capability currently and flying blind. I own two companies and when I decided to expand, I brought in 'experts' in areas I was not familiar with, as I got larger. They paid for themselves in spades. They then stood down.
NM brought an NCM rep onboard precisely to assist with his endeavours for expansion and ultimate production. It is becoming apparent that the advice NCM is/has given, is not welcome and so the pair have fallen out. NM 'thinks' he knows better, no doubt especially now that he has been assured by the franco support. But believe me when I tell you he is in no way "in the major league" in any shape or form. He might think he is but as it stands (reflected in his activities and time scales), he is still a minnow and continues to think like a big fish in a small pond. IF......and it is a massive IF.....he really genuinely wants to take this to production, he needs support from a major(s). Annexing them at this stage and coming up with c -o -ckamamie pathways like NSR financing and Placings is a strange way to go about it.
BHP must be pulling their hair out. Hurry up October, that's all I can say.

To1963 - you've held your nerve and survived the hammering all newcomers receive if they dare question NM's motives. ONly a few bullies but they are relentless. I filtered several in the days where they were slanging everyone off for the slightest misdemeanours. Some of the die hards still here though unfortunately.

What concerns me though is the flurry of excitement, almost orgasmic reactions to desperately begging for an allocation in the placing @ 21.5p.....when the SP was @ 23p...WTF?

Did I miss something? A company dilutes with a 1.5p spread and people are queueing up to buy them? Then...hours later the SP drops below their purchase price. Mental. Some serious fans here, of solg - eager to hand over even more dosh to NM to spend on his endless webinar expenses...
We all know (as the masseur said to the client) there will be a happy ending but it's torture watching it play out. NM is out of his comfort zone and it showed last night.
